He watched her as she walked around bidding the staff farewell.

As he was wheeled outside, Olivia opened the car door.'Ole man, try git up enu cuz me nah lift you up.

Jason sat at the glass waiting.
He watched her as she walked in with Leo.

'Hey man, high five', he placed his hand at the glass excited. He had nothing else to look forward to now but his son.

Leo touched the glass where his hand was and Jason wished he could hug him.5

'You alright?' He asked. Leo shook his head.

'You hearing mummy like a good boy'? He cannot bring himself to say her name just yet. Then Leo jumped out of her lap and raced to look out the window.

Sophia stared at him. Jason had no choice but to look at her. She didn't look like the woman he knew. She lost weight. She wasnt wearing any make up or jewellery.

He leaned back in his chair. He saw tears in her eyes. She wanted to speak but knew he would never answer or address her.

She tore her eyes off him, and searched her bag. The guard at the far end of the room stepped to her as she took out a big Brown envelop.

'From Jessica'. Her voice low.

He took the envelop from the guard who opened it and poured out its contents. There was a Bible and a letter.

2 years rang in his ears. The judge gave him 2 years. He might come out in less if he maintained his good behavior. Lucky for him he had a clean record and David didn't press charges.

He thanked God every day, that David didn't die, although that was his aim. But when the truth came out his angered was geared somewhere else.
In 1 year time, he will have his life back and he wasn't so sure Sophie would be apart of it.
