Kristine's POV

It was Tuesday, and about 12:00. I texted Luke letting him know I was going to leave for the store soon. He texted back after about a minute.

"Okay, I'll be at your room soon"

I texted back, "you don't have to- I'll meet you at the Metro"

"too bad, see you soon"

I rolled my eyes. 5 minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I grabbed my wallet and opened it.

No one was there.

"Hello?" I called down the hall.

There was no answer.

I closed the door and walked back to my bed, only to immediately hear another knock.

I groaned and hauled myself off the bed and over to the door. I opened it and there was no one.

I was about to tell whoever it is to fuck-off but then I heard a little girl screaming.

I looked to where the screams came from and I saw Luke round the corner and run toward me. He was screaming and running with his hands above his head. He stopped when he reached me.

"Surprise!" he squealed.

I looked at him stunned, and burst out laughing.

"Luke, you sounded like a little girl!"

"Was I a beautiful girl?" he asked striking a (hideous but hilarious) pose.

"Yes," I rolled my eyes. "I can't even describe how sexy you looked while screaming down the hallway."

"Excuse me?" he said with as much sass possible, "did you say 'looked' as in the past!?"

I jokingly looked him up and down.

"Well... You're decent, I guess."

"I can't even believe you!" Luke snapped while flipping his (imaginary) long hair.

We both burst out laughing.

"I like your sass Lukalina," I said punching his arm.

He laughed, "thanks. So I thought I could drive you instead of the Metro. Then we wouldn't have to carry the stuff on the train."

I nodded in agreement and we left for his car. He opened the door for me, and helped me inside.

"So where are you thinking of going?" He asked once he sat down.

"I don't care. Is there a Target near here?"

He nodded and started the car. Luke handed me a cord so I could plug my phone in. I turned on the Ready Set and we sang (obnoxiously) all the way to Target.

Luke got a cart and offered to push it for me.

"I am perfectly capable of pushing my own cart," I argued.

"But then I can't do this!" he said taking off. He pushed the cart until it had gathered speed then he jumped on the back, riding it down the aisle.

"Luke! You're going to hurt yourself!" I yelled.

He stopped the cart right before crashing into a DVD display. I ran to catch up.

"Are you sure you're 19?" I questioned.

"Pretty sure," he replied, "so what was it that you needed?"

"Candy, food, and anything else I see I guess."

He nodded.

"could we stop by the book section?" Luke said shyly.

"Of course, Lukey."
