Joy

We were all at the park.

It was a good time, one we haven't had in a long time.

No one was sick.

No one was sad.

And everyone was getting along. It really made me happy.

I laid on a picnic blanket with my head in Jinyoung's lap. Yuri was getting plates set up on the picnic table. Jackson, Mark, Yugyeom, And BamBam were running around. Jaebum and Youngjae were...well I don't really know what they're doing. Just being themselves.

Over this past month, Jinyoung and I have gotten really close. He was there for me when I got news that my father had passed. He was there for me through a lot of fucked up things that happened in one month. I looked up at him and smiled "I missed this ya know? Being together everyone happy! It hasn't been like this in a while, This month has been hell" I say "Yeah, I'm glad Yuri was here to pull it all together" Jinyoung Chuckles

"Without her, we'd probably all be at home locked in our rooms..." He says then looking back down at me "Thank you" I say "For What?" He asks "For being there for me. You didn't have to and you did, and I really appreciate it" I smiled, He smiled back. This time his smile seemed different, Everything about it. The look in his eyes was different from any other smile, he looked...happier...he looked, more sincere and it made me feel...warm inside.

"Get up love birds!" Jackson teased "Yah! Jackson!" Jinyoung yells, I laugh "Hey! We should play tag.." I grin "Haha! You're it!" I tap Jinyoung's nose and stand up, running away. I didn't think Jinyoung was chasing me until I looked back and he was like RIGHT. THERE. I screamed. Laughing as I ran around the park until I felt his arms go around my waist and I am lifted off the ground "No." He smirks "You're it" He whispered

"Ooh! Jinyoung!" Yuri Teased us "Come on we have to celebrate, the first day of winter break is soon, and We're definitely gonna have a lot of snow days!" She smiles. Jinyoung sets me down and I run over to the picnic table. "Sup Mark" I say "Sup Suki" He responds 'cooly'. I laugh "Hi Yugey!" I grin "Hey Suki!" He smiles "BaaaAAAM!" I yell "Okay, I'm too lazy to do this helllooooo everyoooone!" I chime happily

"Someone's happy!" Jaebum Teases "Why wouldn't I be?" I ask sitting and waiting for Jinyoung to sit with me "I don't know. But you're definitely more happy than you'd usually be on a day like this" Youngjae says "Your smile has grown a lot since we've met you" Mark says "I'm glad to see it like that" Yuri says "Jinyoung" Jackson pretends to clear his throat "Caused most of that I'm pretty sure"

"Yeah, I mean. The most her smile has changed was after the two made up and became friends" BamBam says "Yeah, yeah. Shut up! I wanna eat I'm really hungry" I say "Eat then" Jinyoung Smiles "Yuri And I didn't make this all for nothing" He laughed "Nyah Yuri and I didn't make this all for nothing" I imitate Jinyoung, annoyingly. He rolled his eyes "Ooh I'm really hungry" He replies mocking me "I hate you" I say smiling widely "I hate you too" He said also smiling widely

"Okay. Can we stop with this?" Yugyeom asks "Yeah, I think I'm gonna barf" BamBam said "Sure" I smile "Thanks Yuri! And Jinyoung, for the food it's like the best thing ever!" I grin and start eating.

We all ate until everyone left, Jinyoung stayed with me. We sat on a bench looking up at the sky. "Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you hadn't came here?" Jinyoung asks me "No...I like to think more about what can happen then what could've...If I never came here, I wouldn't have met you..." I mumble "That's what I meant, What If we were always supposed to meet, What if even if you didn't come here we still met sometime in the future?" He asks "Then I'd be happy still, unless you were married already" I laugh "Yeah...that reminds me, I've been meaning to ask you something..." He mumbles. Then the booming sound of thunder cuts off the rest of his words.

I stand up. "We seriously have to go!" I yell pulling him up. We run to his car and he drives me home.

I stayed up half the night trying to think of what he could possibly want to ask me.

What could it be? How old I am? No he knows that...uhmm...My siblings?

Maybe..
Maybe he was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend?

That's silly, But...

I can still hope can't I?
