Anyway, I've heard some surprising things from a friend.... So I'm sorry if this chapter is different than how I usually write.

I got scared about stuff and... Yeah. You know how it is when you're told something and you don't want to believe it.

Gajeel's POV

I wandered down the hallway of the Fairy Tail HQ. it had been a couple of weeks since the fight between me and Shrimp. My reputation had grown and I'd already chosen my path.

The final path.

I kind of was expected to really. My fighting skills were admired by some members and Makarov didn't like how I voluntarily beat up one of his brats. He announced to the whole group and I'm not kidding,

"So Juvia and Gajeel both are deciding what paths to take and Gajeel has already shown brilliant fighting skills and since he finds it okay to show these off I believe that he should choose the final path. If he doesn't then feel free to call him a coward."

I know right?

Old geezer.

ANYWAY.

I was walking down the hallway and I bumped into Mira-Jane who was smiling at me.

"Oh, Um. Hey Mira-Jane."

"Please, call me Mira."

"Okay..."

She gave me a note and smiled again.

"Read this and agree."

I opened the note and read, 'Shrimp is totally your cute name for Levy~ Right?'

I shook my head and quickly regretted it as I saw Mira's face turn from a happy smile into a grim frown.

"AGREE."

Reluctantly I nodded.

"Thanks Gajeel! Oh and by the way, Makarov wanted you to see him in his office." With that, she took the note out of my hands and skipped away.

"Creepy woman..." I muttered, before making my way to Makarov's office.

"Gajeel! I wanted to ask you if you and a small team could go on a recovery mission to reclaim the pharmacy across the town." Makarov said as soon as I entered the room. "I'll let you know who is going with you."

"Don't we already have a lot of medical supplies?"

"Well, some other survival camps tried to get medicine from there, but it's overwhelmed by the zombies there." He handed me a piece of paper. "A survivor group called Blue Pegasus have some members trapped there, I'm sending some final path people and some recovery path people to get them back safely. It's like killing two birds with one stone, retrieve the people inside and claim the pharmacy."

"Okay then, who's going?"

"You, Levy, Juvia and Gray. All of you have good fighting skills."

"Shrimp? Ugh. You know as well as anyone else that she and I don't get along."

"Well, that's not the problem at hand now is it?" I shook my head.

"No sir."

Makarov sent me off to get the others and head on the mission.
