Since I made you all wait like, 2 weeks I'll make this a super long chapter for what I usually write. But It's gonna be a short-ish story. I have a Percy Jackson version of this I really want to write, but in order to do that I have to finish all of my stories.

I hope you understand~

Gajeel's POV

We'd escaped the building with the girl Yukino, Lucy was helping her move and Erza was carrying Yukino's small dagger which was hidden in her clothing.

Where?

....

....

I'm not drooling.

Honestly.

I kept looking over at the BookShrimp and every time I looked, she was wincing. Wanting to help, I'd try to approach her but she just stepped away...

What was wrong?

I had no clue.

"Okay, the palace is the the east of here," Erza announced, pointing up at the sky. "The sun rises in the east, so I say we wait until morning to keep moving. It's getting darker by the minute."

"Where can we go though?" Jellal asked, "Erza, there isn't a good place here to rest up."

"Yukino needs to rest though!" Lucy pleaded, catching up to Jellal, still supporting Yukino.

"I-I'm fine, Lucy... I just need to find Sting... He, he told me to wait." Yukino looked behind her desperately. "I just hope he's on our trail."

"Was there something going on between you and Sting?" I asked, folding my arms.

Yukino blushed and looked down and the ground. "M...Ma-"

"Now isn't the time." Levy interrputed her and pointed to a building across the street.

A light was coming from a room near the top floor and shadows were visible. Squinting my eyes, I tried to see if I could somehow identify who they were in there.

Jellal picked up a small pebble and made a gesture as if he was going to throw it at the window. Erza shook her head, but Natsu took the pebble out of his hand and threw it at the window. Rather than smashing it like you were prbably expecting, it lightly scratched the window and caught the people's attentions. One of them rushed to the window, and when I saw him I was glad.

It was a guy from Fairy Tail, Gray I think.

He beckoned us over and dissapeared from the window. Moments later, he appeared at the door and let us all in.

"The top floor is safest, we fortified it a little." Gray led us upstairs after blocking the door and told us to keep at quiet as possible. it was an apartment building and they hadn't checked all of the rooms. "We've checked most of them and all of them on our floor. but we're not too sure about the second floor."

When we got to their small make-do base, I was thrilled to see,

"Juvia!" Juvia greeted me with a warm hug, and of course I returned the favour.

"Gajeel! Juvia was worried, you, you seemed to vanish..." When we seperated I grinned at her and gave her a high-five.

"I'm like iron, I won't go down easily!"

"Wendy! Can you help Yukino?!" The little girl, the only medic left, suddenly came into view. Lucy spotted her behind Juvia, but since she was so small I didn't notice.
