Chapter 10

~Harmony's POV~

*4 days later*

I help Elias out of the car and into the house. He doesn't have any major injuries, he just has a few bruised ribs.

I help him get comfortable on the couch, and jermaine pulls up and brings André in the house. Jermaine and I weren't on bad terms or anything, because of what happened, we were actually closer.

Jermaine and André stay for about 2 hours. After they left Elias and I sat in silence for a while.

"Baby, what's wrong?" he asks "You haven't said one word to me since I got out of the hospital."

"Nothing's wrong." i say

"That's a lie" he says

"Ok elias." I say brushing him off

"Harmony, what did I do? You never call me elias." he says

I ignore him.

"Harm..!?"

Still nothing.

"Harmony!?" he says

I want to be alone, so I get up and go upstairs and take a shower and put on underwear, a oversized t-shirt, and fuzzy socks.

I walk downstairs to the kitchen and get something to drink.

On my way back upstairs he grabs my wrist and pulls me to him.

"Let me go." i say

"Sit down Harmony." he says

"No. Get off of me." i say

"Harmony, I'm not playin' sit down." he says

"No." i snatch my arm away from him and walk back upstairs

A few minutes later I hear the doorbell and I slide on some pants and go answer it.

"Hey." Alise, Shanya and Janine say as they hug me and walk in.

"Hey." i say and smile.

They all go sit in the living room with Elias.

"Come on y'all." i say and gesture for them to follow me into the kitchen.

Elias looks at me like I'm his worst enemy.

"What was that all about?" alise asks

"I'm not talkin' to him, and he mad." i say

"Why you not talkin' to him?" Janine asks

"So, on our 6 month anniversary we went out to dinner, exchanged gifts, had sex, and then he left in the middle of the night while I was asleep and when I woke up at like 5 in the morning, he wasn't there and I had to go out and try to find him, the hospital called me and told me my husband was in thw hospital, but they were calling about jullian and when I found Elias, he was in the hospital but he made up a bullshit excuse about going to walmart to get a frozen pizza." i explain

"And what time was this?"shanya asks

"5 in the morning." i say

"Walmart close at 12." she says

"I know." i say

"Did you check his phone?" alise asks

"Nope." i say

"Why not?" alise asks

"I don't wanna end up feelin' stupid. Like, if I'm here giving him my all and he's out giving someone else half of what he's getting." i explain
