Chapter 24

~Harmony's POV~

"Thank you so much." i say and hug alise, shayne and nolan

"Did you like it?" alise asks

"I loved it. It was the best baby shower I've ever been to." i say

"Maybe because you've never been the one receiving all of the attention, and stuff." nolan says

"You're probably right." i say

"Umm, I think he wants to talk to you..." nolan trails off

"Who?" i ask and turn around

"Hi Harmony."

"What are you doing here?"

"I invited him, I mean I thought he should've been here. He was here the whole time." shanya says

"Why didn't you ask me before making that decision?" i ask

"Because that's his child too." shanya says

"I don't care." i say

"Ok, so I'm gonna start putting the gifts in the cars...." jullian says and trails off when he sees elias

"What the hell is he doing here?" elias asks

"Taking care of the woman and child you took for granted" i say and hand jullian my car keys

"Harmony, I'm sorry for all of that stuff I said and the way I acted, but I couldn't help it. I love you and I don't wanna lose you." elias says

"Elias, can we go to the movies now?" some random female asks

She had on a white crop top, with jean shorts and fishnet stockings.

"Didn't I tell you to stay in the car?" he asks

"Yes, but-" she starts

"But nothing, go get back in the fuckin' car." he says strictly

"Who the hell is that two dollar hoe?" i ask elias calmly

"A friend." he says shamefully

"So, you brought your hoe to my baby shower!?" i say "But you love me though, right!?" i ask

"Yes. I really do love you." he says

"That's bullshit." i say and slap him

"Damn harmony, calm down." nolaan says

I move closer to him.

"I think you should go back to where ever the hell you was stayin' and leave me and my child alone." i say

He grabs my hands and pulls me closer to him. Now our bodies are touching.

"Harmony, where is your ring?"he asks

"I don't know." i lie

"Wow. Ok." he says and lets go of me.

"Babe, calm down." jullian says

"I'm ok. I'm calm" i say

"Hold the hell up..... You wit' boul now?" elias asks and walks towards us

"Yup." i say

"Damn. I wish y'all the best." he says "But I want my son."

"You can come see him, but I'm not just going to give him to you." i say

"If you won't give him to me, then I guess we just gon' have to go to court."he says

"Fine." i say

He leaves and we put the last of the gifts in alise's car, then we go to my house.

We put all of the stuff in the baby's room.

A little while later, I hear the doorbell ring, and Nolan goes to get it.

A few minutes he comes back, but he's not alone.

"Hey harmony." a man says

"Hi." I say, not looking up from the chamging table

"Dang, that's all I get after all we been through?" the man says

I realize who it is, and get up.

"Dion, I missed you so much." i say and hug him

"I missed you too." he says and I hug him

We stand there for a while, and then he places his hands on my waisr and pushes me back. He looks at me for a while.

"Somebody was busy while I was gone." he says and rubs my belly

"Just a little bit." i say and laugh

"How far along are you?" he asks

"7 months." i say

"Wow."

We talked some more as we finished with the room and then Dion and I cooked for everyone and we ate and watched tv. We all fell asleep on the couches. I woke up and I was cold and everyone else was still asleep, so I went to get blackets, when I came back, Dion looked like he was uncomfortable, and he was in my spot, so I moved him over and sat back down. When I got comfortable, I fall asleep again.
