Nandini's POV :

I stood there shocked. I heard another sound when Manik came back to me and dragged me towards the car bowing me a little. I got inside the car and the driver started to drive crazily fast.. I was still shaking and Manik hold me closed.

What's happening!! Fisrt someone broke into my home and someone shooted... All this happening after di was gone. I just hope di is safe wherever she is.

Manik was talking in his phone.. Informing someone what happened but I didn't notice what he was saying. Because I was busy thinking about why these things happening. I didn't do anything to anyone and I know di also don't have someone who hate her this much.

We reached home safely and Sara aunty rushed towards us.. She checking for any injury then it hit me wasn't Manik injured bcz I thought He took the first bullet. But he wasn't bleeding or anything.

"Oh thank God. Both of u are okay. I was so worried."

"How do u know aunty?" I asked..

"Oh dear, this news is in all the channels..." Oh! Possible bcz it's about the rich people specially Malhotra.

"Go, go freashen up.. I will fix something to eat.."

I freshen up and went out of the washroom only to see Manik, who also changed his clothes like me.

He came closer to me and hugged me tightly. I didn't say anything and hugged him to. He nuzzled on my neck and I shivered. He broke the hug and kissed my temple and then leaned his forehead over mine.

He was afraid too. We both faced the death from close today. "I thought u were shot." I said and he opened his eyes.

"I thought I am gonna lose you." he said.

"Lose me?" I asked him in confusion then we heard a knock.

"Murat is here to meet u both.. Come out he is waiting." Sara aunty left after saying it.

Murat sir was sitting on the sofa when we joined him. He was watching the breaking news that the reporter was telecasting.

"Just give them something and they will present it in front of u with many decorations." He said shaking his head.

"Are u guys really ok?" he asked.

"Yeah not a scratch yet.. But do we know who did that?" Manik glared at the tv.

"No. They found none. They are useless but our men also couldn't find something yet. I hope we will know soon." Murat sir said.. Manik turned the tv off. Murat sir then focused on me.

"Are u comfortable here? I hope this idiot is not annoying you much."

"No. I am good. Thank u guys for taking care of me." I said politely..

"Don't thank us.. We are doing this for us only." Manik said..

"Huh!"

"Nothing. Ignore him. Don't worry about today's incident. We will soon find who is behind it." Murat sir smiled softly.

"But we need to know who they wanted to attack. Bcz just yesterday someone broke into my home and today this. I know U guys are big business tycoon and have many enemies."

"She has a point." Manik smirked.

"Shut it, Manik. It could have for her or for you.. We don't know.. So please just be careful. Manik, do u think it could be Arsal?"
