Chapter 72

"Manik, we got out of the city long ago and you are still driving."

"We are going for camping so cheer up, why you are so grumpy."

"Because I was expecting a date not these physical activities." She murmured and looked out of the window.

"Did you say something?"

"Of course not. Why would I? I am sooooo happy." Manik smirked hearing her sarcasm.

"Don't get afraid. I cleared with them no animal actually come to that side."

"None and never?"

"Well, a lion came but that only happened once now you can't see any lion only hear the roar."

Nandini's eyes widen. She was blinking and stare at him thinking he was joking. But he neither clarify it nor laughed.

Nandini wanted to ask him if he was out of mind. But she decided to say nothing. There was no way he was going to change his mind.

Nandini fall asleep on the way so she didn't see where they were going. Manik parked his car and went out. He was gone for some time but came back to wake her up.

"Nandini, we are here."

"Hmmm.." Nandini blinked her eyes to see what's happening. She clearly saw a tent and a campfire in front of it.

"You already set up the tent as well as the fire."

"Yes. Why didn't you wake me up earlier."

"You looked tired that's why. Come on, we need to freshen up by the pond."

"Pond? Is it safe?"

"Yeah, No crocodiles near the shore." Manik said with a smile.

"Means that pond do have crocodiles"

"Of course it has." Manik said casually.

Nandini made an what the hell look that Manik ignored. Nandini got out of the car and look around fearfully.

'This guy is going to kill me." Nandini made a crying face and followed Manik.

They had their dinner, talked a bit because Nandini was completely on alert mode. Looked around her all the time and she was literally jumped when she heard animal sounds.

" We need to sleep early as we need to get up early." Manik said.

"Why?"

"I have plans for us and I am sure we both are tired already."

Nandini did not say anything and got ready to sleep. Manik took her in his arms and closed his eyes. "Good night, sleep tight."

Nandini frowned and throw him a glare. 'Yeah, the only way I am going to sleep is to faint because of the constant fear.' She thought and exactly that moment she heard a roar and jumped a little.

Manik stopped himself from laughing and hugged her more tightly. Soon Nandini fall asleep after being comfortable in his arms for so long.
