Chapter Nine

After May-Rin left the room, you went to Sebastian and pulled him into a hug. "I am sorry that my sister has so many questions. She has always questioned everything," you said to the red-eyed butler.

"It is OK, My Kitten," he said as he hugged you back. "Now, My Lord would like to see you in his study."

"OK, can you take me to him?" you ask. As usual, he smiled at you and nodded his head.

When you both reached the young master's study, Sebastian knocked on the door. A faint "Come in," was heard on your side of the door. Sebastian opened the door and you saw Ciel sitting at his desk with a stack of papers.

"Uh, you wanted to see me, Ciel," you said as Sebastian left the room, probably to do other chores.

"Yes I did. I asked you to come here so I could interview you for a job at my manor," Ciel said to you.

"Alright, then, let's get this interview started," you said, then the interview began.

~~Another Time Skip because I want one~~

"Well, that had many more questions than I thought it would," you said once the interview was over.

"Yes, indeed. I hadn't origionally planned on having that many questions," Ciel said. Immediately after he said that, Sebastian entered the room with a tray.

"Good afternoon, Young Master and ______. I have brought some Lemon Merengue Pie and Earl Grey tea for a snack," he said as he poured tea for the both of you and gave you a slice of pie.

"Thank you, Sebastian," you said as you picked up the tea cup.

"No thanks needed. I merely acted as I saw fit," he said as he left the room so Ciel could finish with the interview.

"Now, ______, there is only one more question that I need to ask you," Ciel said after he took his first sip of the Earl Grey tea.

"Yes, what is it?" you asked as you picked up the plate that held the pie.

"Would you like a job here, as a maid?" he asked you.

You smiled as you said, "Of course I would like a job here." Unusually, Ciel had a smile after you excepted the position. "Uh, why are you smiling, My Lord?" you asked.

"No reason. I just thought that it was interesting in your response. I didn't think you would answer me with a big smile," he replied. "Now, your shift will start tomorrw morning. I will have Sebastian wake you up tomorrow so he can explain you job."
