Chapter Thirteen

When you awoke, you had a terrible headache. You have no memory of what has happened in the past couple of days. The last thing you remember is that Alois left the room to answer the door.

You figured that you must have passed out from the amount of abuse that you were given, which happened a lot.

As you got ready for the day, you had the feeling that you weren't supposed to be here. You felt as if you belonged somewhere else, you just didn't know where.

Being the person you were, you decided to see if Claude needed help with any thing aroung the mansion.

It took about fifteen minutes until you found Claude in the kitchen. "Uh, Claude, is there anything I could help you with?" you asked the man.

He turned around from the counter to look at you as he said, "Yes, would you take highness his breakfast." Knowing what would happen if you refused, you took the tray to Alois' bedroom.

You knocked on his bedroom twice to let him know you were coming in before you let yourself in. "Good morning, your highness. For breakfast this morning we have Green Tea and scones," you said as you poured the tea into the cup.

"______," you heard your master say.

"Yes," you said without looking up. You didn't want to have only one eye like Hanna does.

"Why are you bringing me breakfast? I thought Claude was going to do it," he said confused.

"I asked if there was anything I could help with. Claude said for me to bring you breakfast," you explained as you stood up straight and stared at the floor.

You heard Alois get up from his bed. Startled you looked up just before a hand came across your face. Your master just slapped you.

"I never want you to ask Claude what you could help with. You will only do what you are assigned each day. Do you hear me?" Alois asked you.

"Yes, highness. I understand," you said in response.

"Good, now I want you to get Claude and send him in here to get me dressed," he said right before he gave you another slap across the face.

"Yes," you said as you left his bedroom to get Claude.

"May-Rin, what are you doing?!" Sebastian yelled at the maid.

"Sorry, Sebastian. I just thought I should get the fancy tea set since Lady Elizabeth was coming," she said.

"I told you so many times to let me get the tea set. You wouldn't want to break another set would you?" he asked, obviously mad.

"You are just mad that ______ is missing. Why don't you just go out and look for her already?" May-Rin asked.

"You know I can't do that. I must stay here and watch you, Finny, and Bardroy. I also have to stay here for the young master," Sebastian said as he got the tea set down from the shelf. 'I am sorry, ______,' Sebastian thought as he continued with his work.
