Chapter Eighteen

It was now time for the ball. You asked May-Rin what costume Sebastian would like best, and she told you to dress up as a black cat.

You thought that it was an odd choice of costume, but dressed up anyway.

You were walking down the stairs to the front room, when you felt Sebastian's arms go around your waist.

"I had a feeling that you would dress up like that," he wispered in your ear. Feeling his hot breath on your neck and ear made shivers go down your spine.

"Did May-Rin tell you what I was going to dress like?" you asked. Your body was now turned to where you were facing him.

"Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. We will never know," he said witha smile on his face. You could see in his eyes that she did tell him.

"She did," you said to him before you got on your tiptoes to give him a small kiss. "I can tell she did. I can see it in your eyes, Sebastian."

His smile grew bigger when you told him how you knew. "Wow, I never knew my little kitten was so smart," he said as he gave you a small kiss.

"Come on you two. I would like to get this party over with, I am sure ______ wants to be there and out as soon as possible," you both heard Ciel say.

"Shall we go, ______?" Sebastian asked you as he held out his arm to you.

"Yes we shall," you said as you looped your arm with his.

When you reached the mansion of Alois Trancy, you were still excited. Even though you are back at the place that gave you nightmares, you were still happy to be here with Sebastian.

Once you all entered the mansion, Ciel imediately left to find Lord Trancy. For a moment, you just stood there, amazed by how many people were in the room. There had to be at least 500 people.

"What is wrong, my kitten?" Sebastian asked you with worry in his voice.

"Nothing is wrong, Sebastian. I just can't believe how many people are in this room alone," you explained to him. "Now, how about we go and dance?" you asked.

A large smile grew on his face as he said, "I would love to dance with you, ______."
