Chapter 23
“Hello?” I said as soon as Harry answered me at the second ring
“Hey. Miss me then ha?” I can feel him smiling which make a small smile appear
“There’s no time for that” I remembered the situation I’m in and I threw this smile away. I can’t hear him clearly from the noise of two people arguing, I think.
“What’s that noise?”
“Can you come and get me from the police station?” I said little bit loud to make sure he heard me
“What?” He snapped at me “Why are you there?”
“I don’t know. Can you just come and get me?” I asked “Please I can’t call my parents and tell them to come” I begged
“I’m already in the car. Which office?” I don’t know but it was close to our school
“You’ll find it at the same street as a school is in. The school is in the beginning of the street and the office is at the end”
“What school?” Oh god, I’m not good at describing at all
“Here” I said to Harry and handed the phone to the officer “Can you please tell him where I’m?” I asked the officer
“Sure” He took the phone out of my hands and told him
“Thanks” I said to the officer
“No problem, now stay outside until your brother is here, I won’t let you stay with those dirt bags behind these metal bars” I’m lucky that this kind officer is the one who caught me, doing nothing actually but I’m caught anyway
Harry’s P.O.V
As soon as she pronounced ‘Police office’ I jumped from my place immediately ignoring the questions of my mother and Robin. She gave the mobile to a man who told me the address. Of course she did
I was over speeding in slow speed roads. What did she do for being arrested? Is she okay? I don’t know but if all of this was because of this creepy I don’t know what should I do? Maybe if I left nothing will happen to her. Maybe she’ll be safe after this strange week. I wished that I could hold her close to me forever but I don’t think I’m lucky enough to have her.
I’ve finally reached the office. I parked the car in the first place I found and when I went in, I didn’t know where to go so I kept moving among each floor looking for a clue to find her. I wasn’t that hard. I found her at the end of the second floor. Isn’t anyone arrested must be put in a metal room. I don’t care, my nerves are already over their edge
“Oh god” I said and she stood up and I pulled her into a hug “Are you ok?” I asked her cupping her both cheeks with my hands and she nodded “What did you do?” I asked
“Nothing, just go in and give the officer your ID and let us go away from here, please”
“Sure, wait here I’ll be right back” I said then I looked down at hervaulted hands then I looked to her eyes one more time “Don’t worry” I said and gave her a kiss on her forehead
I went in and waited for the officer to end his call
“How can I help you?” He asked as soon as he cut the line
“I here for the girl outside”
“Oh yeah, right. I do only need your ID because we didn’t found any drugs with her” Drugs?!
“What-?” I was going to asked him about the drugs but I better know from her “Never mind, here” I said handing him my ID
“There was a group of wasted guys in this place and she was in the middle of their group terrified, someone called us and reported for that. I got her here and she had no drugs and no ID too, that’s why she’s only getting out with your ID if that was your question” The officer answered as if he was reading my mind and I’m left there speechless
