Kongpob's POV

“Don't misbehave or talk back, be in the best of your behaviour.” Arthit said for what felt like the hundredth time since the morning when he had picked me up from outside my dorm.

And now, we were standing infront of a modest looking, warm house with a really scared senior by my side.

Like… I had seen this guy shout his lungs out in his croaky voice and be all outrageous with his punishments but I couldn’t ever be less surprised every time I saw him this nervous, indecisive and scared.

He looked like if he took just one more step closer to the house, he was going to turn and run away at once, and for that mere reason I had held his forearm, just in case he runs, I would be ready to run away as well, because god knows how else would this situation work otherwise.

I mean, I was in not just because of the money, money was always the last thing in my mind, but this was about Arthit, I had to settle my scores with this arrogant senior, and who would miss a chance to see their enemy in their most vulnerable situation like this?

I'm in for all the good help and all, but I knew a huge part of me only agreed to this because I would be knowing so much more about him than anyone else in the college, like… I would be knowing too much of personal life and it would be fun to use this situation in my favour.

“Ready, nong?”

Of course I was! I had even took the efforts to dress up in jeans, jacket and a shirt, looking as dapper as I can ever be.

I glanced at him, there was a glint of fear in his eyes, but he still seemed determined.

“Why are you so desperate at this-”

“You have no bloody idea how June is.” He hissed under his gritted teeth, cutting me off and I narrowed my eyes.

This guy is maybe… like… really insane.

“Come on.” He tugged away my hand once he noticed it, and then gradually we walked ahead and he walked me inside the living room.

“Mom!” Arthit immediately called while signing me to walk with him and gradually we were face to face with his mom.

I immediately realised that Arthit had his mother’s eyes.

“Arthit, my son, how was college?”

I smiled standing aside while Arthit was busy filling in his mom about the developments in college.

“Arthit.”

I looked ahead to find an older man standing, definitely his dad.

He noticed me and I immediately greeted him with a wai.

He nodded, while turning to his son.

“Arthit! I had told you to bring your date!” His mom spoke up sternly and then she turned to greet me with a warm smile and spoke up,

“And you can’t change the topic by bringing in your friend.” She said sternly.

I swallowed, almost having an urge to release the held breath, knowing just how awkward and aggravating this situation would turn out.

Arthit glanced at me, he was way more awkward about this.

He couldn’t even speak up for what felt like minutes before he managed to utter a very sheepish, “Actually, mom… he is Kong… Kongpob… my date.”

Someone give this guy a medal for speaking that out without passing out when he looked like he could actually pass out any second.

“What?”

Dad was the one to speak up first, strangely enough,  I wasn’t even surprised.

“He is my lover.” He spoke up, more sternly this time.

Oh my god, who was this June? What had she done for Arthit to lie like that?

I think I was already finding this June character to be kind of amusing.

“Don’t joke around!” Mom seemed to lose her nerve, I wouldn’t blame her knowing just how conservative the their generation can be.

“Mom.. Dad, I'm not joking, this is Kongpob, whom I've been dating for last six months.”

Okay, he needed a good back up for that crap, first of all, it had not been more than a couple of weeks since I joined the college and been under his hazing, and secondly, was he really going to build up a story about starting to date me when he was a second year student and I was a high schooler?

“But he is a boy!” The mom shouted helplessly.

“And I love him.” Arthit replied as calmly as possible.

“This is making no sense to me.” The dad spoke up, shaking his head.

Tell me about it.
