It Takes Guts To Lie!

Arthit’s P.O.V.


Kongpob could have just pointed out that I wasn’t looking good, but what was with him and his hands all around me?


I was so shocked, I was shook to the core, numb, unable to react when he had suddenly decided to wreck my mind and adjust my clothes.


And after that, I wasn’t even in a state to talk to anyone.


I needed to calm myself down before I had to face anyone now.


So I left outside to clean up my mess.

This nong was giving me such a hard time and the problem being that he was so unaware of it most of the time.

But soon I realised that I had practically left him alone among my relatives who would’ve nothing to do with him and yet he would be socialising with them like his own family, I decided to find him back, I couldn’t be leaving him alone like that.


But when I did find him, I wished I hadn’t.


“P’Arthit?”


I immediately recognised the junior… Tew, their class president.


What was he doing here?

Kong seemed to have cringed when he glanced at me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked when Tew started to greet me while I walked to them.

“Why does everyone keeps asking me that? This is my brother’s engagement party and I should be asking instead P'?” Tew was still trying to be polite, we all knew he was shit scared of me.


Now how do I tackle this little problem called fake boyfriend beside him who was his friend?


“I… My cousin is getting engaged… to your brother.” I managed to speak while Kong was looking like he could pass out any moment.


“Really? What a small world.” Tew tried to chuckle nervously under my gaze.

Such a small world and still it decided to bite me right on my neck.

“Come on, then, they would be so glad to realise that we are in the same faculty.” Tew said while walking to me, even when this junior was scared of me, he still knew how to socialise and keep everyone happy, but he wasn’t realising that I was in no condition to socialise with Kong by my side.


But I had to do this now, I had no other choice.

Rin looked extremely pretty in her attire, she was glowing, and her smile brightened up even more when she spotted me, she looked at Kong who was still looking like he would run away in no time until I held his hand, forcing him to be by my side, we had no way out.

And I knew Tew was taken aback when he saw me slip my hand to hold Kong's hand.

“Congratulations P'Rin.” I said while giving her the gift that I had brought along.

“I had never known P’Arthit is your cousin.” Tew pointed out once the introduction between me, Rin and her fiancé were exchanged.

“I had never known he was in your faculty.” Rin smiled as usual.


She had been such an amazing cousin and friend to me but I had never expected to find myself in a situation like this.


Tew and I were somehow related now, and this Kong by my side who was deadly silent and pale, had had just realised what the actual hell of a mess we had put on over our heads.


“So, this is your boyfriend?” Rin spoke up and I felt Kong stiffen beside me.

I tried to avoid Tew's gaze before I gave a short nod before Kong finally decided to greet my cousin and Tew's brother.


“Wish you a happy life ahead.”

Kong had decided to totally ignore Tew or my presence as he started to talk with them, or was he always like this? When he got too engrossed into a conversation he forgot of the problems around him.


But then I realised he was purposely ignoring Tew who looked like he was having a stroke or something, his eyes were wide and his jaw was hanging, he looked like all the air was blown out of him.


“Kong and P'…. P'Arthit.” Tew still tried to make sense.

I ignored him while waiting for Kong to be done with his talking.
