Valka panicked.
Hiccup was going to arrive today. How is she going to tell him? They never found a single clue on where she is. She's blaming the troops, but deep inside, she's blaming herself. Hiccup trusted her with Astrid.
She heard a horn and she froze, and felt herself turn pale. Her heart started beating uncontrollably and started sweating a little.
"Mrs. Valka, your husband and son have arrived" A viking knocked at her door.
"Okay, not a single word about Hofferson, yet. Alright?"
"Affirmative"
She sighed and went out the door to greet her husband and son. She walked painfully slow towards the big crowd, surrounding Stoick and Hiccup.
"Valka!" Stoick yelled and ran to me to hugged her tight and spun her around. She smiled as best as She could.
"Hey mom" Hiccup said hugging her after Stoick put her down.
"Where's Astrid?" Hiccup tilted his head.
"Hiccup...." Valka starts.

I sat at the corner, hugging my legs. Finn has been giving me updates about Alvin and Drago's plans. I just wanna bust out of here, and welcome Hiccup back from his trip. If I didn't go out the house, I would be there right now kissing him and embracing him.
"Astrid? You hungry?" Finn called outside while knocking.
"Very" I replied and he came in with a tray of surprisingly, the food I love the most.
Chicken.
I smiled and he set the tray down.
I ate the chicken, not caring if Finn was laughing lightly. I bet I look like a wolf who hasn't eaten for days.
"Hey Finn, I think I know a way to bust out of here" I reply. His face lit up.
"Really? That's great! How can I help?" He asks.
"You think you can send Berk an airmail?" I ask.
"Sure, Alvin keeps some Terrible Terrors exactly for that job" He replies.
Why didn't I think of this earlier?! Idiot, Astrid. Idiot.
"Can you send Berk a message? Where I am? SOS? And bring a large army?" I ask hopefully.
"It's a long shot since only the guards can send and recieve mail. But I'll try my best" He says.
"Yes! Thank you so much Finn!" I smiled and hugged him. He laughs and hugs back.
"Look, if we get out of this, maybe you can come back to Berk with us" I offered.
"Thanks, but I can't. I'm the only family dad has left" He says.
"I understand" I reply.
"Get some sleep. I'll try to send the airmail today" He says picking up the tray and leaving the cell.
I thank Thor for there is very decent guy in such a horrible place.

"Hiccup I'm sorry" Valka says to her now upset son, who had just fell to the floor.
"I-it's okay mom. It's not your fault" Hiccup says clenching his fists. Whoever did this to his wife, he would slit their throats and make them experience a slow and painful death.
"But you trusted me with Astrid"
"It's okay, I know you can't look after Astrid all the time. After all, she is reckless" He says.
Valka embraced her son who now had tears going down his cheeks.
"Why do this happen to us mom?" Hiccup asks as buried his face into his mom's shoulder.
"It happens sweetie, I'm just happy you guys made it this far despite all the problems you've faced" She whispers.
"You're right. We're strong. I will find her, like she did her best to find me before" Hiccup says standing up.
He whistles to Toothless.
"Wait, don't you think you should rest a little?" Valka says.
Hiccup shakes his head.
"It's getting dark son. Why don't you leave at dawn tomorrow?" Valka holds his hand.
"Mom but I have to find her" He says struggling.
"I know she's doing fine right now. She's a strong girl. Why don't you leave tomorrow? You look exhausted" She says.
Hiccups sighs and gave in.
"But the first thing tomorrow, I'm finding her" Hiccup says.
"Sure, come on. Let's go" She smiles and they go home.
