6)Stay Focused No Matter What

"How many god damn times are they gonna teach me slope intercept form!?" I said.

I'm frustrated with all this god damn work. But I need to stay focused. I have to. Right now I have 100%'s in all of my classes and I cannot cope with anything less.

To be honest there's nothing difficult about the material it's really just the amount. It's like the don't want to enjoy the college experience.

I heard footsteps come up to my door. Two heads peeped in my doorway. One was Toni and one was another girl that I've never seen before. Probably another one of Toni's one night stands. Which is fine by me.

"Hey bombshell are you talking to yourself?"Toni questioned.

I nodded and gestured to my surroundings.

"Yeah I feel a bit overwhelmed" I said honestly.

Toni walked into my room. Crouched in front of me and grabbed my forehead and kissed.

"Don't worry you'll be fine" she said before leaving the room with her girl she was having for tonight.

At first I appreciated the gesture and thought it was cute. But then I remembered that she was with another girl. Her hands touched my head.

They could've touched that girl....in places... I shrugged the idea out of my head and finished my math.

As soon as I was finished with my math I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack. It was going to be a long night of studying for me so I wanted to be prepared.

I needed to reread a couple chapters for my English class that I wasn't understanding. Which went fine. Nothing like studying on a Friday night. I figured that I might as well study as much as I can before the weekend . Mainly because the weekend is when I can't keep myself off of Toni . But it's not my fault. God decided to make the hottest woman and dangle her in front of me.

So I was cramming and I didn't even have a test coming up. Toni just distracts me sometimes. No need to repeat what happened last weekend. I mean we would've had sex if it weren't for me stopping myself.

I was literally straight 4 weeks ago....

What was that noise? Oh my god this cannot be happening! Are they serious? Welp that was very considerate of them.

Of course they decided to fuck while I'm studying. I'm starting to wonder if Toni even studies anything other than female anatomy. Who she decided to have sex with moans like crazy. Like ,girlfriend sex isn't that great calm down.

I got up and walked to my dresser and put in ear buds and finished studying.

"Toni I'm sorry I'm not going to come with you" I apologized to her. But I had to say no because

She was going to a party with some of her friends from founders hall. But I had to say no to her. I mean I just got an email from my English teacher telling us that we'll have a quiz on Monday. I need to study more. I've only studied for 5 hours .

So I decided to make a cup of coffee and sit down with my books. I mean this is what I signed up for anyway. A rigorous schedule for four years straight.

*Ring*

Apparently Veronica was calling me.... so I picked up.

"Hello"I said

"Open the door"Veronica cut me off.

I hung up and walked to the door. When I opened I seen Veronica. She looked beautiful. She wore her hair in curls with a dark berry matte lipstick. Below was probably the most expensive thing I've ever seen. She had a perfectly matched berry mid thigh length dress with black pumps. A diamond choker that had to be real with matching earrings.

"Wow I know ....I'm hot...Now move so I can get in!"she said laughing.

I was so embarrassed.This was the first time I've ever even looked at a girl lie that besides Toni. I mean it was undeniable that she was hot.

I moved out of the was and let her in. She sat on the couch and I sat across from her.

"So Veronica it's late what do you want?"I asked tightening the bun in my hair.

"Well Cherry Blossom.... was just thinking that I can take you out. I mean you haven't been to one party yet"she explained.

I shook my head.

"I'm sorry but I don't wanna got to a cheap college party . I'm not that type of person. Plus I have to study" I told her.

She laughed hysterically.
"Oh you're so sweet. We don't party like ole miss or temple university. This is NYU basically everyone here is posh or and undercover one because there's no way they'd be here without money. So I know you've got cute shit in that closet of yours."Veronica said.

She better be right too. But to be completely honest I'm just going so I can get Toni out of my head.

I got up and led her to my room.

"Ooo I'm so excited "Veronica said.

I looked in my mirror and smiled. Part of me missed partying and that whole scene in general. But for some reason the other part wondered if Toni was there with some else.

"So are you and Toni going to fuck tonight?"Veronica asked.

I felt my face warm up.

"What?! Why'd we do that?"I said .

Is it that obvious?

"Hey chill. I've been with girls before. Not really my go to but if it happens then it happens. But there's no denying that she likes you." Veronica said coming up to the mirror.

I huffed.
"She's a player...." I said.

Maybe that's why I keep my distance. I thought it was because I still missed Reggie. But that's not true it's because I'm scared.....

"Then why is she different with you Cheryl? Put on some lip gloss and let's go get fucked up"
