Cheryl's College Survival Guide

I Think I Might Love Her

Cheryl's first year of college was over and she was no longer was a freshman. Toni was now a junior. They said 'I love you's in the funniest way but it was so them. It was the summer after Cheryl passed her first year.

————(flashback)————

"BABE!!!!"Toni called from the couch in the living room.

Cheryl was in her room finishing cleaning. But she picked up her water bottle, put her hair in a bun and walked into the living room.

Toni was looking down at something.Cheryl couldn't see what Toni was calling her for until she came around to look. Cheryl dropped her water bottle and it cracked.

She was froze.

Toni was holding Cheryl's journal. Which was very private. They've been together for almost a whole academic year and Cheryl never mentioned it.

Toni looked up.
"Babe"

Cheryl was so embarrassed that tears ran down her face. But her face held a small smile. She wrote so many things in that journal. Many of them about Toni.

To make the situation worse for Cheryl the journal had "College Survival Guide". Cheryl just knew that Toni would say it's lame. That she was so dorky for documenting her days in a journal that has glitter pen on it like a twelve year old.

But Toni wasn't focused on that she was more focused on the words that were in it. So many of them were about her. The most recent ones were the most intense.

"20)I Think I Might Love Her"

Cheryl made an effort to try and take it awards from Toni but failed. Toni snatched it away quickly and read the words from her most recent chapter.

"It's like I'm going insane. Life without her can't compare in all honesty....I think I'm in love?"Toni read

Cheryl reached again but failed.

Toni continued
"I'm the luckiest woman in the world. I hope this never ends. She even rubbed my feet today"

"Toni stop" Cheryl begged

"Some times I wonder what so special about me for her to stay. Hopefully she never realizes it's nothing and I can keep loving her. Because I do....love her"
Toni read.

Toni handed Cheryl her journal back. She then realized that what she did wasn't right. She invaded her privacy. She felt like complete shit looking at how sad her girlfriend looked.

But her guilt fades when Cheryl's words really hit her. Cheryl loved her. But felt like she didn't deserve it?

"Oh my god I can't believe you!? Toni I'm so embarrassed. Maybe I was overwhelmed and my words were exaggerated? But haha don't worry....I-I'll make us food. Food is great."Cheryl rambled on about anything.

None of her journals have ever been inspected. She's journaled since she was 9 years old. So this situation was something she's not prepared for.

"Cheryl it's fine...."Toni tried to calm her down.

"No.. I'll go get us a pizza. I can't believe that-"

"BITCH I LOVE YOU! forget the pizza"Toni yelled and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

Cheryl pulled away from her girlfriend.

"I love you too Toni"Cheryl said.

Cheryl then began laughing. Which turned into a full fit of laughter.

"What's so funny?"Toni asked.

"Oh nothing....I'm just thinking about the way you told me."Cheryl explained.

Toni sat on the couch and turned on the tv. Cheryl looked down at her and kept laughing.

"Well I had to get you to be quiet somehow."Toni whispered.

Cheryl sat on the couch but Toni shifted away from her.

"What now?"Cheryl questioned.

"Umm maybe pizza is a good idea. I'm kinda hungry"
Toni said.

Cheryl huffed and stood up.
"I'm right here..."she whispered.

Toni heard though.
"I'm pretty sure you won let me put chili flakes down there so....."

Toni smacked her ass and Cheryl kissed her.

"I can't believe I fell for someone as weird as you...."

Toni pulled her hair into two buns and let the rest fall down her shoulders. She leaned close to the bathroom mirror and applied lipstick.

Toni admires Cheryl through the mirror as she walked out of the shower. Cheryl kissed Toni on cheek and Toni slapped her ass in return.

Cheryl walked out of the bathroom and into their room. They started sharing rooms a while after they said that they loved each other.

Or I guess Toni busted her out for loving her. But every night in bed Cheryl wraps herself around Toni and they fall asleep watching Netflix. Some nights Cheryl gets in late and Toni still waits for her to fall asleep.

Their relationship became second nature . The routine of who cleans what when. How Toni wakes up first so Cheryl can make them breakfast.

That Toni has to keep reminding Cheryl to take the garbage out because she cleans their bathroom.

At the beginning of the school year Toni would've never thought that she'd be in a relationship like this. On that would kill her if it ends.

"So what do you think?"Toni asked as she presented herself to Cheryl

Cheryl put her hand up to her chest.

"Oh god wow"

Toni smiled and gave her girlfriend a spin.
"Like what you see?"Toni asked

Cheryl slipped into her clothes.

"How can I not? I'm so lucky."Cheryl said.

Toni picked up a brush that was on their dresser.
She stood behind her girlfriend and pulled her hair into a tight high ponytail. Which was only accomplished because Cheryl lowered herself.

Cheryl turned around and smiled.
"See you after class"

"I'll miss you"

Toni leaned in to give Cheryl a kiss and Cheryl leaned down for a quick peck.

"I love you Bombshell"

"I love you too"
