17)Self Care

Cheryl was getting worried about Veronica. She wasn't in class the last couple of days. The days she was she was late .Maybe she needed someone to talk to. But Cheryl didn't feel like the right person to talk to her about it ,so she decided on leaving her alone.

She was dragged out of her dorm by an excited Toni. One that was rushing her to pack clothes and get dressed for cold. Cheryl thought it was cute how excited she was. All Cheryl knew is that she'd be gone for the weekend and MLK day.

Her problem is that she didn't know where exactly they'd be going so she packed everything honestly. Swimwear to snowsuit. She was a bit annoyed because Toni wasn't giving her any hints.

But she decided not to care so much when they were in the back of an Uber on their easy to the airport. Honestly Cheryl didn't know Toni had as much money as she did. So she was shocked by every little thing that was happening.

Maybe they needed to talk more, because if Cheryl had the amount of money Toni did there is no way she'd be living on campus.

They stepped out of the Uber and a man came up to them.

"Ahh Neal I've missed you". Toni said as she wrapped him in a hug.

The man wrapped her in a hug.

"Oh please you know you are my favorite. Now let me get those bags"

"Nice to meet you" Cheryl said as she handed him her bags.

Toni smiled . "Oh Cheryl this is Neal"

All Cheryl did was smile again. She was completely in shock. She had money but like first class money. Not this....

Neal loaded the bags onto a cart that a gentleman took away.

He exhaled and said
"Well follow me ladies your flight will be ready in about 30 minutes"

"Toni you didn't have to do all of this you know that right?" Cheryl said as they followed the man.

Toni grabbed Cheryl's hand.
"Cheryl I really wanted to. Its out first date I need to make a good impression."

"I'm pretty sure we're way passed that"Cheryl said.

Which was really true the girls were way passed first dates . They didn't wait for the third date to do the things most people do.

But that was besides the point they were finally going somewhere without stress. Cheryl was still in awe at everything that was happening. I mean Cheryl didn't really see Toni as a girl with private planes.

If she had private planes why did she share a dorm? If Cheryl was her she would've never stayed in a dorm. Instead she would've had a condo near campus .

Cheryl was drawn out of her thoughts by quite the busty flight attendant. But she immediately fell back into them. Because god they were huge.

"Miss?"the woman asked.

Cheryl focused feeling embarrassed at how much of a trance she was in. How did she not realize she was gay earlier?

"Sorry what was the question?"Cheryl said.

The girl...Hannah was on her name tag repeated
"Would you like to start with anything?"

Cheryl picked up the menu that layed on the table next to her.

"Oh um water is fine"she settled.

Toni walked from the bathroom and sat across from Cheryl.

"Ms. Topaz it's been so long"Hannah said.

Toni smiled and sat her bag on the chair next to her.

"Ahh it has and I'm sorry but school is really hard"
Toni explained.

"Well we are all cheering for you"
Hannah said and she walked away.

"Toni this is .....incredible thank you "
Cheryl said truly grateful.

Toni held Cheryl's hand on the table.

"Oh please. I had to Cheryl. You're perfect."

"Drinks Ladies"Hannah said with two drinks in hand

Cheryl began to connect the dots after they landed somewhere that was really hot. They had to be in either California or Florida.

But they were in the plane for 30minuets after landing.

"Maybe that was normal?"she thought .

But then she was buckling back up and they were taking back off.

"God maybe shes's crazy and I couldn't tell because she was hot?"Cheryl thought .

The plane landed a second time and Toni kissed Cheryl's cheek.  Cheryl was lead our the plane by the pilot and Toni. Toni shook hands with the pilot.

"God Toni is so hot here! And speaking of here. Where am I?"Cheryl asked hoping Toni would finally say.

"Barbados"

Toni and Cheryl held hands the entire drive to the resort. Everything was so perfect.

Cheryl's

1)skin is clear
2)good grades
3)healthy

Literally nothing could go wrong and she deserved all of it. Especially because she spent all those years wasted with Reggie. But she was genuinely happy. It felt good.

Toni was a bit nervous. She was trying so hard to impress Cheryl. Cheryl being the first girl Toni has tried to pursue seriously in a long time. She kept wondering if it was all too much for a first date.

But Cheryl's reaction to everything was fueling her to do more and more. Just seeing her away from her school , stress free on an island with wind blowing through her hair was amazing.

Toni was so excited to see her smile it made her more nervous. Because she knew she'd be sad if it ever went away.

"Never been Toni I'm excited"Cheryl said and lifted their hands up to kiss Toni but to not break the bond.

"Me too. Especially because I bought you a swim suit."Toni giggled.

"Of course you did"
Cheryl said

"Well I can't help myself. I have to see you in it."Toni said

"You've seen more" Cheryl smirked
