After Ms. D came back to look for the ID she believed to have misplaced last shift, she - And I quote - 'Literally, like, almost puked my guts out!' at the scene before her.

The local police scouted the area while ER had removed the body, though, everyone figured she had been dead for a while, allowing the scent to just manifest in the room. Leads went everywhere, one even went to you; In all honesty, they went straight to you. Cruel as it was, Noah remembered you being the last to contact her; considering you rang her phone, and he happened to take a peek knowing she was too busy to answer it.

Noah himself's alibi was that he clocked out and went to the movies - Two tickets, for him and his boyfriend with a timestamp to prove his innocence. Your alibi was as strong as two sticks planted in the mud, but the hospital neutralized it without your consent, 'Due to perscribed medication, our past patient was guaranteed to be unconscious from 11:34 P.M to 9:30 A.M without any recorded discomfort or distractions. Even if they were to leave, Mx. [LastName] does not have access to an automobile - And, busses stop running at exaclty 10PM. This lead is highly unlikely, because. .' and so on, That sort of stuff. It was endeering and made you feel a little safe, but still left some questions unanswered. What exactly happened to her? Was there simply no other options than to slowly interrogate and disappate her friends and family until they rule it out as a suicide? She deserved something more than that.. What about the cameras?

You wiped a fat tear that rolled down your cheek and stared at the building you and a few others were summoned to after the police began to leave. Stacy placed a comforting hand onto your shoulder and you brushed it off. Man, this week (for lack of better words) fucking sucks. No lead to whoever fucked you up, and now, it was taken out on the only person you trusted is this dull little town.
Things were unmoving for a moment. Then, Noah, standing idly beside your casted form, whispered something abruptly,

" That dude that loiters... The ginger one, " A gentle nudge to the arm got your attention.

" You think he has something to do with it? I mean.... he doesn't look all that friendly. " To whom he was referring to was absent. But his favorite loiter spot, outside the back of the store, looked plenty regular. Noah though, he wasn't ever one to discriminate or point fingers that easily, so that was a little... suspicious. You stood uneasily, shifting a bit. " N-Nevermind, " He giggled softly, rubbing his arms. " I'm probably just paranoid, "

A female voice interjected his before he could continue, loud and tense. " I'll call someone to clean the mess up. Go get some rest, everyone. " With quick nods and solemn salutations, everyone else scattered and went home. You waited until the lot was empty and limped over towards the back of the store, looking for any clues. Aside from a half-smoken cigarette and what looked like a muddy lump of dirt from someone's shoe, it was pretty normal. Sorry [Name], I suppose it's time to just call a cab and go home.
