Chapter 12 - Now I Know

Ashton's P.O.V

"Hey Michael hurry u...", okay what is going on because unless I'm seeing things my best friend is sitting next to his best friend and she is covered in cuts. "Shit sorry mate I'll go and just pretend I haven't seen this" I said pointing at Y/N "No Ashton stay please" he begged "uhhh okay... what do you want me to do?" I asked he looked at me and said "stay here and hold her hand" I just nodded as I sat next to her and took hold of her hand an kissed the back of it. Mikey came back with a first aid box and a bottle of water "roll her sleeves up please" he said bluntly, I could tell by the tone of his voice and the way he was acting he was trying not to cry but who could blame him his best friend has self-harmed. I knew it's wasn't safe for her to be on her own today, "mate stop" I said grabbing his hands, he looked at me with pure fear in his eyes and that's when it happened he sat next to me on the bed and just broke down in my arms "why did she do it ash?" He sobbed into my shirt and that's when I asked "how long?" he looked at me and replied with a simple "2 years" and then I told him to lay down next to her and I cleaned her cuts and wrapped them up to help stop the bleeding, when I was done Michael quickly changed the sheets so that Luke and Calum wouldn't suspect anything then we woke her up and when she finally woke up properly the look on her face was one of pure shock. She looked at Michael and started crying before whispering "I'm so sorry" and all he could do was hug and say it's okay, I'm here now"
