Lee Daehwi

Present Time

Just sitting in my office getting some work done before the door was knocked.

"Open." I answered in response.

It revealed the secretary of the building, she looked old but then she tried to look younger. After she came in, I glanced back to the computer screen and the sheets of paper that have all the patients data on.

"Dr. Lee, the other teams don't think about your idea doing on the patient for this surgery. They would rather someone else to come and do the surgery." She said which made me glanced up.

"Really, is that so. Heh, get them gather in the conference." I told them.

She nodded then left the room leaving me alone in the room. I was staring out of space, having to think about those people who would really have someone else do it instead. I slammed the pencil down to the table before getting up from my seat. I grabbed the white coat and wore before exiting the office.

I was somewhat in a hurry, I needed to get to the second floor. Since I came from the offices, they were all located in another building. I speed walked through the hallways to the main area. I pumped into someone but I continued my way down the hall. I know it's rude but that guy had to stop me.

"Yah." He shouted to me. I stopped and turned to him.

"What is it?" I asked him.

"Ain't it obvious?" He said.

"You can pick it up, you got arms for a reason." I responded and continued to walk away.

I arrived up the stairs and continued to speed walked down the halls going to the other side. Our places are really spread out in this huge building. Good reason to get fit or at least be quick without making yourself look like a mess. I got to the conference on time which was perfect. The meeting from there then begins as I stepped up to the podium.

Bae Jinyoung

Aish, that stupid doctor, I went down and picked up my glasses. I noticed one of the lenses also broke off from it's frame. I tried to put it back in, it was worth it. Still the same as ever, I walked around a bit before meeting the person I needed to meet.

"Ah hello, you must be Bae Jinyoung." She said smiling brightly.

"Yes, I am." I answered.

She then began her tour with me following behind. My lense haven't popped out yet, I think it's should be good for awhile now. We stopped in front of the conference room.

"They are having a meeting right now, let's watch shall we.?" She said.

I nodded, she opened the door quietly then let the both of us enter. That same guy from earlier, talking about the surgery. This guy, aish, he really doesn't know what he's talking about.

"What do you see here?" He asked pointing the green laser at the body.

The conversation goes on between the two, I stared out of space looking down at the paper. I looked up when he mentioned something so dumb about doing his surgery.

"You're doing it at a time?" I asked. "Ah, I see why this was here in the first place." I spoke up gaining attention.

"And who might you be?" He asked as the secretary stood up.

"I was gonna introduce him tomorrow, but since everyone is wondering now, I guess I'll do the honors." She said. "He is Bae Jinyoung, one the legendary doctors everyone was talking about."

"This surgery, the one you're looking at, the only way to make it out successfully is doing Appleby operation. Doing detachment phase by phase won't change anything." I said.

"And doing Appleby who blow out all the arteries in the liver-" He stopped as he looked back at the picture.

"Pay close attention to it, you'll get where I'm at for this time of surgery." I told him.

I stood up knowing I won this fight, just before I fully stood up straight. The exact same lenses fell out of its frame. I felt embarrassed from it then took them off.

"Heh, whatever. This is my patient, I'll be doing Detachment phase by phase." He said.

The meeting was done, it ended off with him still doing his own ways. I went to my office after I was given directions to it. I opened the door and went inside of it. I dropped the glasses on my desk before glancing back. There it was, the safe that I needed here. I walked up to it and apparently woke it up.

"Enter Password." It said, I punched in my birthday number and it opened up.

I opened up the door of it then took out the round container. I looked at it before placing it inside then shut the door. I changed out of the clothes into a surgical clothing and a white coat. When I arrived at the Operation hall, I found that exact same boy in preparation of surgery.

"Who allowed you to do the surgery?" I asked half shouting at him.

"Professor Ha did." He said.

"I won't allow you do it." I commented.

"What's problem here? Daehwi? You should be getting ready for the surgery." Sungwoon came along.

I saw Daehwi smirked at me then turned away to continue down the hall. I turned away leaving Sungwoon behind and head up to the viewing room. As I arrived, I was met the chairman.

"Ah, Bae Jinyoung. It's nice to meet you, I'm Hwang Minhyun." He introduced himself. "Sorry that I couldn't meet you personally. Life really does have it time to take away." He added chuckling a bit.

By that time, the surgery was about to begin, I looked down to see Daehwi showing a small wave to Chairman Hwang. As the surgery starts, everyone sat down at the vacant seat watching the screen or from above. During the progress, as it continues on, Daehwi was then having a small conversation while dealing with the patient.

"Daehwi was the only best surgeon. To me, I think he lacks the intellectual and attention when it comes to this stuff." He said to me.

"Why are you telling me this again?" I asked him not taking my eyes off the scene.

"Because, I want you to help him become a better surgeon, make him learn more about this at least." He said.

"If somethings goes wrong, I can guarantee that he won't give up this surgery." I said.

A few second later, something exploded which splattered blood over Daehwi.

"And boom." I added.

Everyone else stood up staring down at the panicked workers inside. I got up and left the viewing area quickly and head to my office. I grabbed the container and picked up one of the same pill from before. I popped it in and then hurried over to operation room.
