Bae Jinyoung

I woke up, even after watching what mother left me before, yes, the same cassette tape. I just let it continue from where I stopped it at. Some words were left and stuck on me, it's like I can never forget them. I grabbed the remote and turned off the cooler of the bed, the chilled fog around my body was slowly fading away. I hopped out of bed, wearing slippers before entering the washroom to freshen up in a cold bath before putting on business clothes. I rushed out of the bedroom and headed towards the front door before being stopped.

"Good morning master." It said.

"Aish, Guan Lin. Turn it off, it's already noisy in the morning!" I shouted.

"Empty stomach. Empty stomach. Empty stomach." It repeated. "For brain to malfunction, you have to eat your breakfast!" It continued.

"Guan Lin!" I shouted in a little fright.

"Hyung." He called out to me.

I turned around and was tossed another same container. I looked up at him in confusion as to why he give me another.

"I'm still good-"

"Hyung, that is just backup, only in case since you working as a surgeon, you may get a lot of surgeries." He said. "Ah, also, that one I just gave you was added more artisan."

"Hm, alright then. I'll get going." I said then turned back around facing the robot.

"Enjoy your day master." It said.

I just rushed passed him to get out of the house to avoid that stupid thing.

I got to the hospital, I entered the lobby area and saw a banner saying a welcome to someone named "Kang Daniel". I only shrugged after knowing there will be a meeting with him in it. I didn't want to go to the meetings since it's pretty much useless. I got to the front desk as the three nurses stood up watching me. I went through pages on the computer screen while they were busy introducing themselves.

"Don't give me your names to think that we were close when we're not." I told them coldly then left the front desk to my office.

I turned a corner then started to hear something ring around in my ear. I glanced behind, seems like it was coming from back there. I followed the noise till I got in front of the meeting room. I hesitated a bit, I grabbed the handle then entered. Doctors and other staffs in here were clapping while I was trying find the infectee. I continued to glance around till I made contact with the guy I assume was Kang Daniel. He continued to speak after making eye contact with me. I looked around again knowing he couldn't be one of those infectee. The sound slowly died out and I realized people were already leaving. I snapped out of my thoughts before turning around to walk out along with the other folks. As I got through the door, Daniel had to stop me.

"Professor Bae Jinyoung." He called out to me.

I stopped walking before I turned out to face him. He was similar to my height so it didn't make much difference.

"It's an honor to meet you here even after what you gone through in Konicha." He said reaching his hand out to me.

"I had decided to go through it." I told him.

I glanced down at the hand but then refused to do a handshake with him. Before I left him, I nodded my head a bit in bow then walked off. My schedule today is all over, thanks for the interruption from the infectee unknown location. I went into the conference hall that had Daehwi, Jaehwan sitting in waiting for me and Woojin. I saw Woojin entered the conference room as I turned the corner, I hurried over and enter as if nothing happened. We waited more and more till everyone arrived including Daniel. We were busy talking about the surgery for this one patient that had a large tumor around the liver.

"For the sake of surgery, the time should be quick then." Daniel spoke.

"If that's the case then yes-"

"Then Bae Jinyoung here, he was known to the fastest surgeon around here to do it in that timeframe." He looked up at me.

I kept eyeing down at my watch during the meeting. Yeah, I need to go do something in my office and hope to research what I needed after all.

"So, Bae Jinyoung, you're up for it?" He asked.

"If that's not the problem then I'll do it. I'll be making a errand to my office real quick. Have the preparation completed by then." I said getting up from my seat and exiting the conference room.

I rushed over to the office side then enter my own. I tried to log in to the security area but it denied me and I continued doing it multiple times. No avail, all of them were rejected, I give up and got up from my seat to go in prep for the surgery. I opened up the safe and took one pill.

I entered the operation room before putting myself in a gown. I stood on right side, I looked up to see my colleagues sitting there including Kang Daniel.

"Scalpel." I asked and the assistant placed it in my hand.

I started to cut down in the middle till blood started to lurk out. My vision got blurry once I saw the blood made contact with my gloved hands. I barely even finished cutting it, I lifted the scalpel from the body watching the blood go wherever. The blood that was on the scalpel dripped till I dropped it alone making noise on its impact. I stepped away and turned around covering my hand from everyone's view. I looked down at my own hands to see the nails started to get sharper within the gloves. This can't be good, why couldn't the medicine work, this can't be the right one.
