After conversing with Daehwi, I had a little chit-chat with Daniel about his way in doing these type of stuff without reacting. He mentioned that he willing to invite me over to his house which I don't mind. I'm finally gonna figure out how the heck he became an infectee but with such warm blood temperature. I informed Guan Lin about my visit to his house before I went inside my car to drive over.

I arrived safely, I waited by his front door till he finally let me in. As I entered, he had led me to a room with a picture displayed with a figure sticking out from the picture frame. It was reaching to someone, whoever it is probably someone close to them but they were being held back.

"How did you manage to do all of this stuff." I asked breaking the silence. "How can you surpass the feeling of seeing blood or smelling it?"

"Here's my secret." He said walking up to a safe in front of me. I watched him pressed on the pin before the door unlocked, he opened it up slowly.

Behind the doors, it revealed a bunch of packets of blood without red cells. Now I'm getting confused about this.

"Blood without red cells.. how did you managed to get all of this?" I asked.

"Blood trading." He said simply.

"Isn't that illegal..?"

"Yes, they are. But if you put it in perspectives, humans needed their medicine so it gets delivered. For us, we needed blood, things like this are not so hard to get. Pay a lot and you can get them, easy. Blood trading, in India, it wasn't illegal. I paid them good amount to get these here, but when it comes to Korea, things don't work out well. These are white blood cells." He explained.

"How did you control your high frequency and body temperature then?"

"You see, that's another medicine for us." He pulled something out and held out a tube filled with blue liquid inside.

"Inject this in yourself two times a month, you can be like a human at this point. But with this, after injecting, you're receive some pain." He added.

He grabbed the blood packet along with the other medicine. He went to his counter and set them both beside one and another. He was grabbing a cup as well, I watched placed it down on the counter before adding 2-4 ices inside. He set the bag of ice aside then started pouring the white blood into the cup.

"No need to feel guilty, these aren't by people that were killed." He said sliding the cup over to me.

He smiled for the last time then turned his back staring at the things that was displayed in front of him. I looked down at cup, full frozen ice with the white blood cell kept in them. I reached over but I didn't grab it or picked it up. I don't know if I really wanted to do this or not, I grabbed it and bring up to my mouth. I took couple deep breaths before putting it back down on the counter. Daniel turned around after hearing the cup make contact with the counter.

"I never really tried white blood, it'll be waste if I drank it." I told him.

"What makes you not wanting to drink it?" He asked as he come back over to the counter.

"Because, I wanted to live like someone who was able to do anything in control over this virus." I said and saw him looked confused. "That someone, is my mother. I'll do whatever I think is right after all, I like to follow behind my mother's footstep." I explained showing a small smile then left him there.

Today, a new child was brought here today by force apparently. Though I pity the girl, she really needs to stop being like this. I entered her to see her fighting the nurses with the pillow. The nurse was doing their best to stop her and change her into those clothes. I rested my hands on the blanket watching this little scene till I give in.

"Yah, stop." I said half shouting which made her and the nurses stop.

"Who are you?!" She asked.

"Let me talk first, who are you to be like this?"

"From my heart why?" Then she asked me the same question again.

I walked up to her and nudged her head which gave her pain.

"Why did you have to hit me?!"

"It was from my heart, why?" I asked her again.

"Whatever! I'm leaving!" She said and tried to walk pass me.

I grabbed her hand and put her on the bed, I took the pillow and threw it somewhere. I held her down on both of my heads and stared at her in the eye.

"You're not gonna leave. You'll stay here till you recover. I promise you, you won't regret it after all." I said then left.

I decided to get off work early that day, I went to a nearby bookstore to read something at home. I grabbed some educational books before walking around again. As I got to a shelf, something stood out to me for a odd reason.

Unconsciously, my hand was over the spinal cord of it. My mind kept being filled with Jinyoung over this.

"Aish, what am I thinking.." I said pulling my hand back.

When I looked back at it again, I decided to take it. I went back home, the lamp was on while everything else is dark. I was reading through that book out loud while highlighting it.

"When one is wounded, it tends to heal itself..." I stopped highlighting there.

I looked up from my book staring out thinking about him again. Seeing the wound he was cut with, healed on its own. And the behavior he would be having when it comes to seeing blood.
