Bae Jinyoung

A location popped up in mind, I called over a taxi. I told the driver to head to the hospital, I kept telling him to step on the gas in a hurry. I thanked him, paid him, before jumping out of the car. As I got to the entrance, my ears started to ring again. I turned around, I saw him standing there in the shadows. I changed directions and chased after him, through the dark I can see his little smiles.

"Don't tell me he's one of those." I mumbled as I chased him through the hallways.

He stopped on the other side by the light, the virus was triggered from my anger. I approached him slowly, his stupid smile was getting on my nerves. My speed increased, I grabbed his collar before slamming him against the wall multiple times. I throw him across the hall again before walking towards him slowly. As he stood up, he pulled something and blinded me with the light. I covered my eyes groaning out in pain. I stopped groaning till I felt something hit the back of my neck. As I lowered my arms, the light stopped shining on me. I reached over to the back of my neck and pulled out the needle. My vision got blurry, I looked at the same guy in front of me smiling his butt off at me.

I opened my eyes to realize I was left alone in this hallway. I tried to get up but my body felt weak. I managed to get up, I had to lean against the wall of the hall. As I got back out to the front of the hospital, my body strength gave up and let me fell onto the ground passing out.

I returned back to the hospital after a good nap back at the apartment. As I got to the entrance, I looked down the street and found someone familiar.

"Professor Bae..?" I wondered.

After I saw collapsed on the floor, I rushed over to him. His face was pale, his pulse was weak as well.

"Professor?" I asked shaking him to see if he will wake up.

After no response, I held onto him and walked him back to my apartment. I don't live from the hospital honestly. I rested Jinyoung on my bed since it was the only room. I grabbed some materials to see why he was knocked out all of the sudden for the night. I rolled up his sleeves, I grabbed one of wipes before rubbing it on his forearm. I grabbed a syringe, I was close to poke down on him till my hand was caught. I looked up to see him awake, he seemed to have the shocked look as well when he saw the needle.

"What do you think you're doing?" He asked.

"Checking your blood.?" I answered.

"Don't, forget it. I'm alright okay?" He said.

"How can you be okay after collapsing in front of a hospital with people around?"

He didn't answer, he just look down at the floor while I cleaned up the materials and put them on the desk. I went to the kitchen leaving him in the room, I grabbed some medicine and put them in a mini bag. I went back into the room and handed him the medicine. I didn't explain anything since he should know even with him being a professional surgeon. I took my leave, he grabbed onto my wrist again, I turned and looked at him dead in the eye.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To the living room?"

"To do what?"

"Sleep?"

"In your own apartment? Why don't you sleep here, I can sleep in the living room."

"No, you need to rest, the sofa isn't a comfortable place to rest in."

"Then what other idea is best huh?"

I only shrugged and continued out the door after removing his grip. I swear I get held back by the same dude every 10 seconds. He pulled me back into the room and put me on one side of the bed. He went to the other side then get himself comfortable there. I only shrugged at the sudden action then covered myself with the blanket, I put some over him but he immediately put it off him.

"It's too hot to be under the cover with you." He said half sleepy.

"Fine then." I said wrapping myself in the blanket.

I woke up without Jinyoung being beside me, but when I exit the room, I found him standing right at the door. He had already got himself fixed for work today.

"Why you still here?" I asked.

"I want to accompany you to the hospital."

"You don't have to. I can take care of myself."

"Nah, might as well. I insist. Now, go hurry and change, we might be late." He said.

I looked down at my watch and noticed the time. If he wasn't there to interrupt me or disturb me in the morning like that, I would've been gone already. I shut the door on him then went to change clothes. After changing clothes, I hurried to the nearby restroom to wash myself. I didn't get any time to like fully shower since time on my side isn't there. I left the restroom and the bedroom, I went to the living room and see him sitting there with his phone up to his ear.

"Guan Lin, something happened last night, sorry that I didn't leave any note about my disappearance." He said to the phone.

He continued to say "yes" and "mhm" through the phone till he hung up. He didn't know I was eavesdropping the whole time either. Now is the time to make myself known.

"You're ready to go?" He spoke up as I step into the living room more.

"Ah yes. Let's go?" I said.

"Yeah yeah, go on. I'll come up behind." He added.

I only nodded then headed to the front door. I stepped out then continued walking towards the hospital. A bit later, I heard footsteps, when I turned I saw him literally right on my tail.

"How the heck-"

"Just keep walking."

I'm confused now, he really wasn't with me as I stepped out of the house. As we got to the front, we entered then we separated. I sighed loudly knowing I'm finally alone again.
