Bae Jinyoung

We were doing well with our research, I decided to invite them over since Guan Lin had already did the fun stuff making the information more.. how can I say it. Understandable? Knowing how this will end up, Guan Lin and Woojin already hated each other. Literally a fight almost brawl out when Guan Lin finished his explanation about the methods that the patient had. Woojin came in and being the idiot he is, Guan Lin had roasted him and everything. I let the two enter first along with Daehwi. I entered after closing the door to see them standing in front of lovey.

"What's up lovey." Daehwi said patting the head.

"Welcome back Lee Daehwi." It responded.

"What's this?" Sungwoon asked.

"It's our house toy." I simply answered then walked passed.

Everyone gathered in the living room, Daehwi ended up sitting beside me even though there was a lot of chairs set up for anyone to sit. We really only ended up sitting at one corner. Guan Lin had begin explaining about the virus while I stayed quiet about it.

"Virus named VBT-01, Vampire Basic Test." Lovey said taking over.

It continued on and on about where it was found and how it was dealt with. I caught Woojin staring at me, I broke the eye contact quickly and try to ignore his stares.

"Jinyoung." I turned to Sungwoon when he called.

"Yes?" I answered.

"How are you able to know all of this stuff already before this meeting?" He asked.

"Remember that our parents work together. I was left with my mother's research journal. I can give that to you before you leave." I explained.

"Alright, I see." He responded.

The conversation and the meeting ended soon after, Woojin and Sungwoon had left already. Daehwi, he only stayed back.

"Sungwoon and Woojin had already left, why aren't you?" I asked.

"Ah, were you gonna ask me and offer me a ride home..?" He asked while I shook my head.

"A pity that I refused your last offer. I think this time would be nice to make it up." He added then grabbed my wrist.

We ended up leaving Guan Lin and Lovey back inside the house. I drove Daehwi home, he also insisted me on going with him in his house. Even though it took me a moment to give in. We entered the house, everything was fine so I don't know why he even bothered to bring me in.

"What's the reason for dragging me up here?" I asked.

"You either believe me or not.. I'm not the only one that is going crazy, there was a presence here nowadays when I get home alone." He explained.

"You sure? Everything seemed fine to me."

"Yah, for real. I came home, the music was on from the radio and that dracula figure fell. That figure isn't that easy to fall too."

"Okay, you should get going to bed now. Don't want to feel any horror in yourself when we're barely doing anything right now." I told him and watch him go to his room.

Lee Daehwi

I walked around the hospital doing my usual rounds. I was at the front desk doing my business on the computer. When I was done, I turned and saw Jinyoung walking. I went up to him and noticed something wasn't right.

"Get ready for the surgery." He said looking at me intensely.

"On who?" I asked.

"Your mother." He answered as my eyes opened.

Before I went to get prepared, I went into a room where all the cat scans were done. I scrolled till I found sister's file. I clicked on it opening the scan, the liver, it had one empty spot on the right. I sat back against the chair and let out a big sigh.

"This is impossible.." I mumbled.

"Daehwi-ah." I heard Jihoon's voice.

"Get me Jinyoung." I told him.

"A-Ah.. He's right here." He said and I turned around.

"Why? Why didn't you tell me.." I said getting up from my seat.

"I know you would try to do something to get her cured, you don't want to have any regrets too." He added.

"You already know this is impossible." I shouted at him and hit his chest multiple times.

"It's better than you having regrets right? Aish, get ready, operation begins later." He said and turned away.

I grabbed his wrist and stopped him from walking away. I looked a Jihoon and motioned my head to move him outside, gladly he accepted and left the two of us alone.

"What about your body? Last time I remember you react when you see blood." I stated.

"I got an alternate, don't worry about me." He said and tried to walk off but I kept holding on.

"Here. Take this, I would've send it to Guan Lin but since this was sudden." I handed him a tube.

He examined it then nodded his head, I loosen the grip and he went out of the room. I went to the operating area after changing, it had looked like Jinyoung was already there. He was standing inside, not moving a bit. I went inside and grabbed his hand. I saw him looked at me, I only nodded before then we started to walk to Sister's room.

We both entered the same time, the staff members inside looked at us including Jihoon. We went and put on the surgeon gowns before going to our sides of the table. I waited as Jinyoung went around the table and stood in front of me. We waited till the staff figure out what we were waiting for.

"Vitals are normal, everything is stable." One spoke up.

I watched Jinyoung nod his head after tilting it to hear them well through the beeping. The staff gave us an okay to begin.

"Scalpel." He said and the assistant placed it in his hands.

He raised it over the exposed skin which was covered by another layer. He cut through it and moved down slowly but stopped as the blood lurk out. I kept staring at his expression and moved my finger in order for him to continue. Couple flick, he was able to focus once again and started to get the area opened. He lifted up one liver and showed a big spot of tumor underneath.

"Professor... lets close her up.." I said getting stares from everyone.
