Lee Daehwi

We arrived at the airport, Jinyoung was dragging his black luggage in all black suit. Seriously, this guy is obsessed with the color black. I just wore normal casual clothes, heck at least it's not all out on black. We were getting ready to get on the plane to Jeju.

"Are you ready?" I asked as we board.

"Yeah, you?" He asked back.

"Always will be." I answered.

We arrived at our hotel, we had already put some stuff down. Oh wait nevermind, I don't know about him since we have different rooms. I changed clothes to something more formal since we needed to show up by 45 and it's only 20. The seminar place isn't that far as well but we managed to arrive early. We walked by some old friends that I've met from last year.

"Ah, Professor Lee. You've came!" Someone called out to me.

"Director Kim, ah it's nice to see you again!" I said as I turned to see Donghyun.

"Did you come alone again?" He asked.

"No, I came with Professor Bae." I said pointing at him.

And Donghyun's partner, she looked and was shocked to see Jinyoung.

"Oh, Professor Bae, it's nice to meet you." She said which made Jinyoung turned and nod his head in response.

"Is he really Bae Jinyoung?" She asked and I nodded.

"Hey everyone! Professor Bae Jinyoung came to this year's seminar." She shouted grabbing other's attention.

It was definitely not what I was expecting, I stood behind him while everyone was gossiping about him. This went on till it was time for the seminar to begin. Even that was still boring, I just sat there till Jinyoung went up to the podium. He was talking about his operation using the Appleby method. The first surgery he gotten which made me still feel embarrassed about it. When he was finished, everyone clapped while I slow clapped for him as he bowed. Even with him finishing the seminar, everyone surrounded him as we exit the room. I stayed outside of the crowd while he was being interviewed. I did feel the pang of jealousy hit me as I waited for him to finish. We walked together leaving the seminar building.

"Did you have fun?" He spoke up breaking the silence.

"Why would I have fun when I'm an outsider." I responded.

"Are you happy that your colleague got the popularity?"

"If that was me, I be happy, what about you?"

"I don't like it one bit."

Noted, oh well, I wonder why he doesn't like the popularity. The remaining way back to the hotel was quiet as ever. We didn't say goodnight to each other after going into our own rooms.

I woke up, when I left my room, I noticed that Jinyoung wasn't out or awake yet. I wanted to go on a hike today after all. I went to the elevator which was mainly transparent and built with glass. I waited a little while till footsteps were heard. I looked to see Jinyoung still in his dark colored suits.

"Where you going early in the morning dressing like that?" I asked not sparing a look.

"I'm going to go watch the dolphins, what about you?" He answered.

"Getting some seafood."

"Getting seafood in the morning?"

"I can have the freedom to get what I wanted to have." I answered as the door opened.

I went inside, Jinyoung followed behind me and stood on one side. We went to the 1st floor so we pretty much just waited in silence. As we reached the 1st floor, the door opened and I exit first leaving him behind and not say anything.

Bae Jinyoung

I lied about going to watch the dolphin show, I decided to go to the forest where I used to live. I walked down the clear pathway, I looked around as the sun was in the way on one side. I stopped in the middle of nowhere when the plants were moving from the wind. Even though it was just the wind, I can feel someone's presence here too. I took a run down in the deep forest. I spotted someone just walking calmly down the woods, that outfit, that hair. I followed behind him, when he turned I went into hiding. When he turned back around, I got out and walked behind him to the point where he would turn around.

"Ah!" He screamed then went to his knees.

It took him a minute to get him back up before he dipped.

"What do you think I was?" I asked.

"A wolf.." He answered.

The memory of me saving the young boy flashed in my head when he answered.

"A wolf? Around here?"

"Yes, why can't anyone believe me."

He walked off before I catched up and grabbed his hand.

"Tell me more about it, I'm curious." I told him.

"A sunbaenim who lived around here, I was only a young boy back then. I got separated from my parents when I followed a bunny. Just out of nowhere, wolves showed up. I was scared to the point that I would pass out, but before the wolf attacks, sunbae came out of nowhere saving me." He said as I was remembering that memory back then.

"Did he go against all of them?" I asked.

"How can I know.. you know what, let's not talk about this." He said then walked off.

I stayed at that spot and watched his figure walked away. The name, Lee SeoYeon does sound familiar now. I followed behind him for some time till we arrived back at the hotel to change again. Again, we are set out for another seminar of this semester. It wasn't really a seminar, more like a hangout. Everyone drinking, everyone being busy together chatting and getting drunk.

"Ah, what should we do?" Donghyun asked.

"Should we play that game from last year?" Daehwi answered raising both of his hands up.

"Ah, that game? Let's go!" He said cheerfully.

"I'll take my leave." I said standing up.

"But professor, you should stay. We only meet once a year." The lady mentioned.

"I'm fine." I said but I was put back down by Daehwi.

"I'll teach you." He said.

Next thing I knew, the whole table was being noisy till we had to stand up. We kept going at it till I give up and just sat there letting Daehwi stand up alone.

"Bae Jinyoung, you should be his black knight." The lady spatted now that everyone is chanting black knight.

"I don't drink." I flat out said it.

"Cmon, just one drink."

"I really can't, I have an allergy when it comes to alcohol." I lied.

"Black knight who?" Daehwi said grabbing the glass and chugged it down.
