Fooled By His Acts

I stand at the bus stop with my headphones in and tap my foot to my music, I inhale the fresh morning air and feel at peace with my mind.
The bus gets here and I walk into it, and sit right at the back and to be on my own.

When I get to school a text pops up on my phone, I look down and see that Ella is ill and she's not coming. Great. I huff and then walk to my first lesson.

I wander around the school to find a bench that has no one sitting there, I slowly sit down then eat my food while my headphones are in.
Just as I get comfortable, Max and Ryder walk up to the bench and sit on it with me. "Ugh" I say out loud, Ryder and Max both chuckle. "What's up with the outfit, Church girl?" Ryder says to me. I look up at him and bite my cheek to try and not have a full on go with him, He grins when he notices my pissed off face and then goes back to eating his food as normal.
The bell goes for the last lesson and then I get up and rush to lesson.

As I'm walking down the school hallways I remember that I have English Literature last and I get a excited feeling in my body and almost skip to the lesson.
When I arrive I am greeted by my professor and I go in to sit in the middle on the third row up, as soon as I sit down I see Ryder walk into the room looking at me and I freeze up. He decide's to sit right next to me and I feel like punching him in the face.

An hour later and Ryder keeps on clicking his pen on purpose to annoy me. "Look could you stop it, why are you so damn annoying?" I say to him. He looks at me then acts offended and then goes back to clicking the pen. I seize his pen off him and chuck it on the floor, he laughs then gets another out of his pocket. This man never gives up does he?

When the lesson finishes, I rush out so I don't have to talk to Ryder and make my way to the bus stop.

As I walk out of the school gates my phone rings and I look at who is calling me and it's Kayla, my cousin. "Hi" I say with my phone to my ear, "Hey, you free tonight cous?" Kayla asks me "Yes but I'm not going to a party if you're asking." I state "No no, I wanted to ask if you could meet me at the Skater Diner?" She asks me, I stand there for a moment and think. "Sure what time?" I say back, "Six ish?" She answers. We both agree on 6:30 and I then end the call to make my way home.

I get home and chuck my bags onto the floor and then grab a sandwich out of the fridge. I walk around the living room and I notice the whole house has been been cleaned up. Kaleb's been here.
Nervous, I tip toe upstairs and notice that Kaleb's door is shut, I push it open and see him sitting hunched at his desk with his headphones in. I stand there until he realises that's I'm there, he fussily takes his head phones off and then stands up and suddenly he falls onto his knees. I rush to him and hold his face while his tears pour out, "Keep away from me... I-I hurt you" He stammers. I take a deep breath and tell him that it is over now, and that I am fine.
I pick him up and sit him down onto his bed and he hugs me, "I'm okay now" I whisper to him and he smiles lightly and wipes his tears away.

I look at my white Iphone screen and it's 18:08, I groan and then walk to my room and over to my wardrobe and look through the clothes and pick out a white, baggy, silk top with blue tight jeans and a black laced choker, I trod over to my vanity mirror and pick up a red matte lipstick and apply it and then draw a thin line of eyeliner and brush on some mascara. I inhale and then exhale and slowly walk out of my room, I wave goodbye to Kaleb and he smiles at me and waves back.

Once I get outside I feel the cold breeze brush against my skin and then feel a shiver flow down my spine, I walk off into the night and make my way to Skater's Diner.

I arrive at the diner and I am greeted by a big warm hug from Kayla and her friend greets me with a smile. We walk inside and sit in one of the booths, "Nevaeh this is Aubree." Kayla says. I look over to the girl who has deep burgundy hair and cold grey eyes, "Hey" I say to her, she waves her hand and says hey back.
We order some food and then Kayla starts a discussion, "I heard your brother had a party?" She says in a high tone. I roll my eyes and then tell her about that night, of how I got drunk and how she would've loved all the 'fit' boys there.

Just as I go to take a bite out of my burger, the diner door opens and an appealing, familiar person steps inside. Ryder. He takes off his shades and then tucks them on the top of his v-neck shirt, the weight of the sunglasses cause the front of the shirt to go down a little and I can see a bit of his sculpted chest. Behind him a strong, buff man who has rich brown hair that shines when he steps into the light. I grab a menu and quickly cover my face hoping he did not see me, I look over to Kayla and she is looking at someone that is standing next to me. I put the menu down and then look up, Ryder looks down at me, laughs a little and runs his fingers through his hair. "Hey ladies" Ryder's friend says in a different accent, Ryder just stands there casually with his hands in his pocket. "I'm Kitt" He introduces himself. I look at Kayla and she is already falling head over heels, I glance back over to Ryder and all he is doing is staring at the floor. He notices me glaring and then he looks up to me but I instantly move my eyes and look up at Kitt. "So who are you?" I state, "Ryder's boyfriend?" I joke. Kayla and Audrey giggle and Kitt just scoffs, "No actually, I'm his brother" He says causally I sit there in shock. Brother?

"Let us sit with you" Ryder asks Kayla, she nods and then moves up a little for Kitt and then forces me to move up for Ryder.
Kayla and Audrey introduce themselves to Kitt and really get along. We all talk for a while and then Ryder snakes his arm around me, I feel a shock explode through me and then an uneasy feeling. I shrug his hands off but he doesn't move, he pisses me off all day and then puts up these little acts to get a little entertainment in this game. I think not.
I stamp the heel of my shoe into his toe and hear him blow through his teeth, I get a sudden feeling of anger and storm out of the diner.
Once I get outside I stuff my coat on and then walk further into the cold, When I look back the others are looking at me in worry, and then I shiver out of anger and slightly jog to the pathway.

As I walk down the cool, dingy street I get a sudden feeling of anxiousness. It is going to take me forever to get home and I can hardly see in this fog.
I hear a car pull up right next to me, and look to my side to see Ryder driving and Audi R-8 beside me while I'm walking. "Go away Ryder!" I shout at him, "Look Nevaeh just get in the car, I'm sorry if that made you feel uncomfortable" He says carelessly. I shake my head and then stomp faster, "Nevaeh get in the fucking car, it's too cold." He states, despite me hating him right now, I groan and force myself into his car.

I don't get it. How can he make me feel so safe and then be a prick at the same time? He's nice and sweet one minute and the next he's an idiot. "You have mood swings just like a girl." I snap out breaking the silence, he chuckles and then looks at me and says "And you don't?" I give him an annoyed look and then look out of the car window. How can I fall for him and not, how does he Fool me every time?

We arrive at my house and it's already 9 o'clock, I open the door, get out of the car and then walk to my door without even looking at Ryder. When I get to my door I get the keys from underneath the matt and struggle to get it into the door, I hear a car door slam and shoot up in shock, I desperately try to unlock the door but the keys fall onto the floor.
Quickly, I duck down and pick it up but just as I get up Ryder stands in front of me and I jump a little surprised, He looks at me with his big green eyes and I can see his pupils dilate. He walks closer to me, pushing my back against the front door, my heart beats faster and faster and then he touches my cheek with his warm hand and holds it.
His lips crash against mine and I feel the electricity bolt through my entire body, he puts his arm to my hip and then kisses me harder. His hands go up my shirt and I tug at his,
he sucks my neck gently, sending beautiful sensations around my whole body."Ryder" I moan. he looks up at me and then grins, I take his face and kiss him back stronger and his eyes widen. The fire courses through my blood and I can't hold back.
