"the day you left me, an angel cried"
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───The soft prince groaned in his sleep, startling Chan who was laying with him, passing the time by watching the ceiling fan. He was quite the insomniac, getting less than an hour of sleep every night, and was getting bored mindlessly scanning over everything in the small room.
Jeongin snuggled into Chan's side even farther, which wasn't very far considering how close the sick boy already was. He was whimpering pitifully, sweat beading his forehead and sticking to Chan's shirt, although that was the least of his worries. He glanced around for anything that could help Jeongin, despite knowing the room by heart already, and was unsurprised to find nothing. The fan was on it's highest setting and the blankets had been kicked off long ago, which left one option for Chan.
"Lord, forgive me for this," he whispered, glancing out of the window at the cold moon. He pried his arm out from under Jeongin, the appendage tingling with pins and needles. With unsteady hands, he gently lifted the boy's knitted sweater, the item he assumed was trapping the most heat. Each small lift brought another patch of skin to the light and Chan was genuinely surprised to see the faint trace of abs, but also terrified when he noticed how prominent the boy's rib cage was. The moonlight gave his skin an angelic glow and Chan had to look away as he finally got the stifling fabric off. He searched the bed for the blanket, his eyes still glued shut. He found a lump of fabric and grabbed it, much to Jeongin's annoyance.
"This definitely isn't the blanket," Chan muttered, completely horrified as he removed his hands. "Dear Lord, please forgive me for I have sinned. I have accidentally touched a minor, and I swear it was an accident. See, look, I'm trying to be helpful," Chan ranted on, appearing crazy as he pleaded with the inanimate moon.
"Okay, alright, Chan, it's okay." He let out a deep breath before letting his gaze fall upon Jeongin. "You're gorgeous," he whispered as he pulled a thin sheet over Jeongin's naked torso, blocking his body from sight.
