"you are my special angel"
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───But Chan didn't realize how right Minho was. Jisung was certainly an odd ball of energy. He talked nonstop throughout the entire movie, annoying everyone around them, except Jeongin, who joined in. Minho and Chan just sat and listened to the two babble on and on about everything ranging from puppies to knives. Chan had stuffed his face with as much popcorn as possible, which seemed to be the only thing helping him survive the movie and the chatter.
When the end credits finally rolled across the screen, Chan let out a cheer. The man jumped to his feet, almost stumbling over the seats in front of him. Jeongin and Jisung were staring at him like he just lost his mind, but he could care less at that moment as he ran out of the cramped theatre like a madman. Minho was trailing behind with a smile on his face, hands intertwined with his boyfriend, but Chan knew he was also grateful to leave.
Jeongin looked like a lost puppy behind them and Chan almost cooed at his doe eyes and confused grin that showed off his sparkly braces.
"Baby, come here," Chan called, his hand held out and waiting for Jeongin to take it. The boy did, albeit shyly. "Ready to check off the next thing on your list?"
Jeongin gave a small nod, the best he could manage with his hand covering his flushed face. Even if Chan hadn't realized the pet name that had slipped past his lips, Jeongin had, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't like it.
"Shopping spree and I'm giving you 200$ to go crazy."
Chan let a smile spread across his face, the sadness showing in his bloodshot eyes. The two bid goodbye to the Minsung couple, him practically having to drag Jeongin away from Jisung's hug.
"Where'd you get that money, Channie?" The boy asked as Chan led him through the malls revolving doors, which seemed to be popular in that side of town.
"Doesn't matter. What matters is what you spend it on. Where do you want to go first?"
Jeongin's features seemed to light up at the question, and he looked the happiest at that moment than Chan had seen him all day. Although Chan wasn't awake when Jeongin stared at him as he slept with the same look on his face.
"Well, all my friends talk about this store called Spencer's but they never let me in. Can we go there?"
Chan's eyes widened at the request, his mind automatically flashing to the back of the dreaded store.
"Jeongin, I don't really know about that." Chan grimaced, glancing at the pouty boy. "Ugh, fine, but just remember you asked to go."
Jeongin clapped with excitement, running in the direction of the edgy store. Chan shook his head like a disappointed father dealing with his rowdy toddler and walked behind him. The dark lighting and alternative music greeted the two as they walked into the store. Chan thought the vibe in the room was the complete opposite of Jeongin, so he was surprised when the boy ran right in, no fear or intimidation whatsoever. He almost seemed to fit right in with the liprings and band t-shirts.
As Jeongin browsed, Chan's anxiety grew. They were nearing the back of the store, the place Chan really didn't want Jeongin to see, even if he was almost a legal adult. He didn't think the boy would appreciate rainbow dildos and furry handcuffs.
Every time Jeongin turned to show him another item he found cool, Chan forced a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, turning them into their usual cresents.
"What's wrong?" Jeongin finally asked, crossing his arms and giving Chan a you-cant-get-out-of-this look.
"Nothing, what do you mean, I'm fine," Chan rambled, leaning on the shelf next to him. He tried to plaster the calmest and coolest expression he could muster, but the shelf chose that exact moment to fall to the ground. The only thing blocking the inappropriate part of the store from view had fallen to the ground, taking Chan's body and Jeongin's innocence with it. Or at least the innocence Chan thought Jeongin had.
Instead of being awkward, Jeongin ran to the handcuffs with a wide grin on his face.
"Channie, look how soft!" He squealed, placing them on his wrists and stroking the fabric. "Much better than what my ex used on me. Metal hurts."
Chan, who had just stood up, fell back to the ground.
"Lord, please save this child's innocence, replenish his sins," he prayed. Jeongin rolled his eyes at the overdramatic male and decided to play around with him a bit.
"Channie," he purred, crouching down next to the said male, "did you know I have a thing for older guys?" The younger asked, placing one hand on Chan's chest. Chan's breathing was uneven and quick as Jeongin's cuffed hands felt up his chest. Jeongin let out a cute giggle, removing himself from Chan and taking the pink cuffs off.
"Don't do that, my heart can't take it," Chan panted, standing from the floor for the final time.
"Can I check out now?" Jeongin asked nonchalantly as if he didn't just turn into a hormonal teenager for a few minutes. Chan nodded, still in shock, and Jeongin basically had to drag him out of the store. The two walked down the empty mall that was mainly filled with elderly couples and single moms with young children.
The hands of the clock were ticking along quickly, taunting Chan, and right when the clock struck 9:00, Chan-
