"In the arms of the angel, fly away from here"

"Of all the things in this room, what's your favorite?" Jeongin asked, glancing around his seamless room. Chan sat in front of him, legs crossed, pretending to think so it didn't look too obvious that he knew the room by heart. Jeongin's alarm clock for school had woken them up at exactly 5:00 am, a Day6 song echoing around the room.

"You," Chan finally said, but by that point, Jeongin had forgotten what he asked. The expression on his face told Chan that, so he clarified for the younger. "You're my favorite thing in the room."

A vibrant blush spread across Jeongin's cheeks like a ripple. He lightly smacked Chan's arm so as not to hurt him but to also prove his point. The man placed a dramatic hand over his arm, falling to the bed with a cacophony of "painful" groans.

"Oh hush," Jeongin rolled his eyes but a bright smile lit up his features. He glanced at his iPad that was plugged into the wall, gasping as he realized it was 5:33 and he had to be to school by 6:15. He stood up, practically rolling off the bed in his haste. He ran around his room like a maniac, ruining its cleanliness with his frantic throwing. A bright pink hoodie caught his eye and he threw it over his bare torso, ignoring Chan, who was giving him an odd look.

"What?" Jeongin asked with a sigh as he ran a hand through his disheveled hair.

"No school today." Chan leaned his head in his hands, flashing Jeongin a cheeky smile. The boy had on a pastel hoodie and cat pajama pants but still managed to give Chan a glare.

"Are you kidding me?" He relaxed a bit, an incredulous expression on his face. Chan was a laughing, crying mess on the bed. Jeongin hit him for the second time that morning, slightly more brutally than the last. Chan stopped his fit with a loud wheeze, clutching his stomach in pain.

"Pancakes?" The man asked, following in Jeongin's footsteps and jumping off the bed, a lot more gracefully. Every step Chan took was light and elegant, like a princess at a ball, and he carried himself with such confidence that Jeongin was jealous.

"Of course I want pancakes," Jeongin mumbled irritably, brushing his fingers through his hair one last time before removing himself from his trashed bedroom.
