Seven

"Hey Red." Toni greeted her girlfriend cheerfully as she bounced down the hallway. It had been two months since they started dating, and the while school knew about them. But nobody said anything behind the girls' back, they were too afraid of the consequences Toni might give them after she beat up Veronica Lodge and threw her into a prison cell.

"Hey babe." Cheryl smiled as she kissed Toni passionately. Dating Toni Topaz has definitely had an influence in Cheryl's formality and confidence. The redhead's parents still didn't know about 'Choni', as Kevin Keller had been calling them, because Jason and Cheryl did everything they could to keep the young lovers' relationship a secret, to their parents at least.

"It's time for assembly, join me?" Toni requested as she held out her hand for Cheryl to hold. "It'd be an honor." Cheryl smiled as she put on a voice. Cheryl and Toni then walked, hand-in-hand, down the corridor to the main hall.

Cheryl sat down next to her girlfriend as she looked up. Her jaw dropped, just like in the cartoons, as she saw her father on the stage. "It's ok." Toni reassured her girlfriend as she saw her expression. Cheryl replied by gently squeezing Toni's hand.

"So, Riverdale High, today we are here to discuss Christianity, and why it is the superior religion. You see, when you worship god and Jesus, they will always be your light in the dark. They will be your warm embrace at the end of a long day, and most importantly, they will be your everything." The Blossom father spoke confidently.

But as Toni turned to look at Cheryl, she realized that Cheryl was her light in the dark, Cheryl was her warm embrace at the end of a long day, and Cheryl... Cheryl was her everything.

Just as Cheryl caught Toni's gaze, bullets were fired across the hall, and the room was filled with screams. "Toni!" Cheryl screamed as her and her girlfriend were separated in the chaos. "Cheryl!" Toni yelled as she tried to reach out for her everything.

The crowd of students were all rushing towards the outside of the school, so that's where Cheryl followed, hoping that Toni would be there.

After Toni watched a girl in the year below them get shot, Toni ran towards the unconscious body and scooped her up in her arms. She then ran out of the building, to be met with mayhem. She carried the girl until she found Mr Kneen, where she passes over the motionless girl to him.

Toni then ran through the tsunami of students, in hope that she would find her girlfriend. "Cheryl!?" Toni screamed desperately as tears stung her chocolate eyes.

"Toni!?" Cheryl screamed after hearing her name being yelled by her love. "Cheryl!" Toni screamed as she saw a wave of red in the brunette and blind ocean. Toni used all of her final drops of energy to power through the crowd do get to her girlfriend.

Cheryl felt a hand grasp her own. She looked up to find Toni smiling from ear-to-ear. Cheryl then felt herself being lifted into the air and being carried away from the madness. "I've got you!" Toni cried as she placed Cheryl onto the ground. "You've got me." Cheryl sobbed as she she kissed her girlfriend passionately.

"Cheryl Marjorie Blossom!" Cheryl beard her father scream. Cheryl's eyes went wide before she was dragged away from her girlfriend by her fathers rough, horrible hands. "Cheryl!" Toni called to her girlfriend as she tried to chase after her, but was stopped by the storm of students.

"What! Were! You! Doing!?" Clifford Blossom yelled as he whipped his daughter with his metal belt after each word. "I'm sorry father!" Cheryl cried in pain.

Jason and her mother were at Canada due to Jason's football career.

"Follow me!" Clifford ordered as he power-walked into the bathroom. Clifford then turned the shower to the hottest it would physically go before ordering Cheryl to undress to her underwear and step in. When Cheryl hesitated Clifford punches her in the face, causing her nose to break and her glasses fall to the floor. When Cheryl stepped in, she felt the scorching water burn her pale skin, instantly changing her complexion from white to bright pink/red.

"Get out!" Clifford yelled after Cheryl suffered ten minutes of burning. "Come here!" He then yelled as he glided down the stairs and to the basement. Cheryl then grabbed her glasses from the marvel floor before running after her father.

"Here!" Clifford screamed as he handed her a piece of sandpaper. "Faster!" Clifford boomed at his daughter. "Harder!" He screeched as Cheryls pink skin turned blood red. "Other arm!" Clifford yelled at his daughter. After Cheryl sandpapered her arms and her thighs, she followed her father into the attic.

Cheryl was then beaten by her very own father. Punch after punch, Cheryl lost hope. All she wanted was Toni. All she needed was Toni. She must stay strong for Toni.

After Cheryl's whole body was bleeding, she was kicked in the stomach and thrown into her bedroom, where Clifford locked the door and sent her to sleep.

After visiting Toni's house last week, Cheryl's was given a burner phone in case of emergencies.

Cheryl cried and cried until she heard her fathers heavy snores from the other room.

The redhead then dialed Toni's number into the burner phone and waited for her girlfriend's melodic voice.

"Hello?" A tired a voice answered.

"Toni." Cheryl whimpered, instantly filled with relief as she heard her girlfriend's voice.

"Baby! Where are you? Are you ok? I tried to get to your house but the door was locked and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get in. I'm so sor-." Toni gushed to her girlfriend.

"Come get me. Front house's top right window." Cheryl sobbed pathetically down the phone as she interrupted Toni.

"On my way." Toni told the redheaded beauty.

No longer then five minutes later, Cheryl heard a knock on her window, still in only her underwear, she opened it, being greeted by her world.

"Toni." Cheryl sighed tiredly as Toni grabbed her through the window. Cheryl winced at the pain from the burnt skin and cuts, but she ignored it as Toni carried her delicately down he ladder. Toni then ran to her car and put Cheryl in the front before strapping her in and rushing the the drivers sear.

"It's gonna be ok, Cher. I'm here." Toni reassured the ginger the whole way back to her house.

When they got out, Toni carried Cheryl to her bedroom.

"Are you ok, baby?" Toni asked Cheryl as she took her jacket and shoes off. "I'm in pain, Toni." Cheryl whimpered as Toni sat down in the bed and pulled her girlfriend in for a soft embrace.

"What did he do?" Toni asked concerned as she kissed Cheryl's head softly.

"H-he yelled at m-me a-and he h-hit me with h-his belt and he put m-me into a b-burning h-hot showering a-and he forced me to s-sandpaper my skin a-and the her beat me." Cheryl stuttered into her girlfriend's chest.

"I'm so, so, so, sorry about your dick of a dad, but you're with me now, and I promise that I will never let anyone or anything hurt you ever again, because I love you Cheryl Blossom. I love you with my whole heart. I love you more than anyone else in this shitty world. I love your hair, I love your glasses, I love your lips, I love your eyes, I love your personality, and I love you. I mean it. I love you so fucking much, Cheryl Blossom." Toni smiled at her world.

"I love you too Toni Topaz. Forever and always." Cheryl promised to her girlfriend as she fell asleep on Toni's chest, wrapped in her soft embrace.

Toni never thought that soulmates were real, but it looks like she's proven herself wrong.

Toni never thought that she could fall for someone so hard, but it looks like she did.

Toni never thought that she could hold the world in her arms, but here she was, holding the most perfect angle she's ever had the pleasure of seeing.
