it's been one month.
one whole month filled to the brim with sweat, tears, but fortunately, no blood.
"shh, let it all own sweetie." toni whispered to the redhead, rubbing small circles on her lower back and holding her hair out of the way. "i don't feel well, toni." cheryl sobbed unevenly, her head bowed down."i know, i know. i'm sorry." toni sighed.
"i didn't think it'd be this bad." the ginger chocked out, throwing up again. "neither did i, honey. we've just got to look at things positively." toni whispered as cheryl attempted to stand up by herself. "i don't feel very positive at the moment." cheryl growled back. "i'm sorry." toni gulped at the sudden growth of aggression that layered her girlfriend's voice. "no, i'm sorry, i don't know what's getting into me." cheryl shook her head and gasped loudly, tears falling down her pale cheeks. "pregnancies are very hormonal, cher, it's normal to have mood swings." toni told her. "but it's not your fault, i don't know why i'm yelling at you." cheryl sighed, standing up with the help of toni. "you tend to take out your emotions on the people closest to you." the brunette educated the ginger, walking her to the lounge. "now, what do you want to eat?" a smile crept upon toni's face.a few minutes later, toni reappeared from the kitchen with a singular piece of plain toast and a glass of water.
"thank you, toni. you're an angel." cheryl smiled softly up at the girl. "you're a goddess." toni challenged. "you're my world." cheryl grinned, pouring the liquid down her oesophagus. "you're my everything." toni bent down and whispered into her ear, sending goosebumps down her whole body. "and you're mine." cheryl blushed furiously, handing her plate and glass back to her girlfriend. "i need the toilet." she giggled after the girl sent her a confused look. "again?" toni groaned, turning on the television.
when cheryl returned, she ate about a third of her toast and drank the full glass. "thank you, tt." cheryl smiled. "my pleasure, sweetie." toni kisses her head and took her plate and glass back to the kitchen.
toni smiled as she washed the dishes.
she was going to have a child with the perfect woman.
for one of the first times in her life, toni was excited.
she walked back into the lounge and looked for cheryl, who wasn't sat on the sofa like when she had left. presuming that she had just gone to the toilet again, toni sat on the other sofa.
after a few minutes, she heard soft breaths coming from somewhere in the room. she looked around and saw cheryl, fast asleep on the original sofa, her hair draping across her face.
toni giggled, grabbed the blanket from her sofa, kay it over cheryl's body, kissed her forehead and continued to watch the television.
when cheryl woke up, she crawled over to toni and lay between her legs.
"hello." toni laughed, stroking cheryl's back gently.
"hiya." cheryl murmured against toni's chest.
"babe, we probably need to tell your brother about your pregnancy, i think he thinks it's failed." toni told the redhead. "i know." cheryl sighed.
"want me to organize meeting him?" toni asked, playing with the ends of cheryl's hair. "at pops." cheryl yawned again, closing her eyes. "nah, we're not sleeping again, honey." toni chuckled, picking cheryl up and placing her on the brunette's knees. "why?" cheryl slurred, draping her arms over toni's shoulders, placing her head on her shoulder and closing her eyes. "because we need to get ready." toni slurred back, mocking the redhead. "no." cheryl refused firmly, kissing toni's neck. "babe stop." the smaller girl gasped. "that's not what you told me last night." cheryl smirked against the tan complexion of skin. "cher." toni swallowed the build up of saliva.
"toni." cheryl moaned into her girlfriend's ear.
"fuck... babe no, i'm the top." toni stood up, causing the redhead to cling onto her in order to not fall.
"i'm the top." cheryl mimicked toni, storming up the stairs and slamming the bedroom door.
