As I slept peacefully, I had no idea the danger I was in at the moment. My slow breathing covered the quiet steps someone was taking towards my asleep body. The floorboards creaked as the two shadows made their way to me ever so slowly. One carried something heavy and the other was ready to pounce. SPLASH. A cold liquid woke me right up from my not so attractive sleep. Gasping for air, I shot up from the bed. There in front of me were the miscreants that woke me up. "Alex..." I said through my teeth, "Jake..." I eyeballed both of them as they snickered. They weren't ready for what was going to happen next. My legs, quick as a cheetah, pushed from the bed and onto them causing them to fall to the floor with me on their chests. I reached for a pillow and covered Jake's laughing face.

"So you think it's funny to wake up a girl with water, huh?" Jake's come back was muffled under the pillow which was now soaking wet. His arms went frantic as he yelled. "WHAT'S THAT? I CANT HEAR YOU!" I yelled as I pressed harder. Alex's arms picked me up from under my arms and swung me around in a circle. He laughed as I began to freak out once again. Finally, he set me down. Every now and then we would exchange a look as Jake lay on the floor unconscious. "Hehe, whoops." I scratched my head in shame. Even through my embarrassment, Alex never stopped to breathe from laughing. "That's my girl," he said wiping a tear for his eye.

I picked Jake's limp body and dragged him to Alex as I gave out an order to get out of my room so I could change. He put Jake on his shoulder and put his hand up in salute. My door was shut behind them. I shook my head at their silliness while turning the shower nob to heat. The warm spray of droplets soothes my back. When I got out of the shower, the whole bathroom was steam filled. I put a towel around my upper body and tucked it in. I turned to the mirror and gasped. There written on the foggy mirror was a message. I'm watching you, darling. My whole body froze then I began laughing maniacally. I opened the door and yelled down the hall.

"VERY FUNNY GUYS!" No response. I rolled my eyes and got into some comfortable clothes. I also put the towel on my back so my wet hair didn't dampen the clothes. I walked to the kitchen, no one there. To Alex's bedroom, also no one. I went from room to room calling out their names, no answer. I stopped to breathe. Where could they be? I thought for a minute. "The movie room" I groaned.

It took no time at all to get there due to my ferocious speed walking. Real badass, I know. The air around the door was tense and suspicious. Like something that would cue some horror movie music. 'Damn now I'm thinking about Jason' I thought to my ever wandering mind. My fingers slowly reached the handle and turned it. The eerie music got louder as I thought about it. Suddenly, a loud sports commentators voice echoed throughout the room and past the door. It scared me and I could've swore I jumped five feet back.

I rushed the door open and was caught off guard by a large arm around my neck. It took the breath out of me at first but I calmed when I realized it was Alex who had startled me. "I hate you." I stated plainly. Jake came out of hiding from his spot on the couch. "Both if you" I grumbled. They exchanged looks and laughed. "We love you too" Jake baby talked. I rolled my eyes. Is today national prank Luna day or what?

"Listen guys," I began once more, "whoever wrote that on my mirror, that wasn't cool. That scared the life out of me." I mumbled. They looked confused, like they had no idea what I was talking about. "Um, we didn't write anything on your mirror, Luna" Alex admitted. "Yea," Jake added, "we've been in here the whole time. Mostly waiting for you to be honest." I shut my mouth and tightened my fists. "Please tell me your lying. I won't be mad if you own up to it." They both sucked in a deep breath. "Luna," Jake began, "what was on your mirror?" I gasped again. 'They really didn't write it,' I thought. I sighed and waved them to follow me.

We made our way past my bedroom and into the bathroom. I opened the door for them but stopped when I saw the foggy mirror was no longer... foggy. Along with the mist, the message was gone. There was no proof of anything. For all I know they could think me crazy. "What did it say?" I heard Jake ask again. "It said: I'm watching you, darling." My body shuttered at the thought. Both of their eyes were open wide and they didn't know what else to do. They couldn't think of anything to say to reassure me of my safety without having themselves worry more.

"I-I, you-" one would begin. The other would just mess with his hair, deep in thought. Alex took in a deep breath. "Jake, find the gun room and bring me three AEK-971's, AK-47's, and one AK-107. Luna, board all your windows and cover everything that the bastard can peep in. I will do the same thing with the other windows and doors." We all understood our positions. Alex was going to be offense, I was to be defense, and Jake was to be backup. "Operation Overlord is a go! I repeat Operation Overlord is a go!" We all put our hands in a circle like some fifth grade soccer team before a game. This game was a lot more risky. It would be life and death, and we have to prepare to fight.
