My name is Davina Montgomery. Little does anyone know that I'm Tony Stark's daughter.

I have been apart of S.H.I.E.L.D. for most of my life. I started the school when I was a teen. I'm smart with 6 degrees.

My father wasn't happy with the schooling I had. He has known about me since I was 14 after my mom died. I didn't know who else to go to.

So today is my 18th birthday. I sit down with him at a coffee table.

I get up and hug him. "Hey dad," I say.

He hugs me back. We both sit down. "Where's Pepper?" I ask.

"She'll be here soon," he says.

I smile. "So what have you been up to?" I ask.

"I have been getting started with the new tower over here in New York," he answers.

"Right. You're going to be the first one using clean energy," I reply.

"Yes."

Something about him doesn't sound good. I probably shouldn't ignore it.

I look at him. "What's going on?" I ask.

"We need to discuss your whereabouts when you're on a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission," he answers.

"I'm not allowed to discuss about my whereabouts with anyone. This includes you," I reply.

"Why don't you just come work for me?" He asks.

"Dad we've discussed this," I answer.

He looks scared. I'm sorry but I decided to join S.H.I.E.L.D. to help people. He sighs.

I sigh too. I get up and order an iced mocha. I come back and take a drink.

Pepper is here. "It's good to see you Pepper," I say. She smiles.

"It's good to see you too," Pepper says.

My dad doesn't look happy at all. "Dad let's just forget about this. I'm not going to change my mind," I say.

My dad gets up. Pepper looks at me.

"Pepper I know he cares about me but I want to help people. I'm not going to change my mind," I explain.

Pepper nods, "I understand that but Tony wants you to be safe and not risking your life."

I smile. I take a drink of my coffee. My dad sits down again with a coffee. I shake my head and nod.

I get a phone call. It's Fury.

"Excuse me," I say. I answer the phone call and walk outside.

"Davina," Fury says. "You have your first mission."

"Which is?" I ask.

"Captain America is loose in New York. Find him please," Fury answers. I run into grab my coffee.

"Sorry but I have to go," I say.

I run out and catch a cab.

The location was close to Time Square. So we'll start there. "Time Square please."

That's when I see him. I pay for the cab and run out.

I play it cool. I tap on his shoulder. He freaks out.

"Sir are you okay?" I ask.

He nods.

"What's your name?" I ask. He is a little hesitant at first. "My name is Davina." I hold out my hand to shake.

"Steve," he answers. Progress.

"Are you lost?" I ask.

"A little bit," Steve answers.

"Is this your first time in New York?" I ask.

"No born and raised but I seem to have lost something," Steve answers.

"Something other than 70 years of time?" I ask.

He looks at me. I show him my I.D.

He looks a little more calm.

"See my name is Davina but please let me take you back to my apartment. I won't take you back to wherever you came from," I explain.

"How do I know you're not trying to trick me?" Steve asks.

"I don't think it's nice to trick your elders," I answer.

He smiles. I take his hand. He looks a little confused.

"Just to know you're not running today," I explain.

I wave down a cab. We both get in. I tell him what corner streets. Steve looks out the window.

"I bet it's changed since you were here last," I say.

He nods. I see all the traffic here. "Actually here is far enough," I announce. I hand him some money.

We get off. "We're a few blocks from where you said," Steve says.

"I know but I don't have much patience," I explain. He smiles.

We start walking. "I am aware that you knew my grandfather. I know you are a very nice man. My father told me some of the stories his father told him," I say.

"Who is your grandfather?" Steve asks.

"You'll figure out soon enough. Now tell me something about you," I answer.

He smiles.

"I was born in Brooklyn," he says.

"I already knew that. Tell me something else," I declare. He smiles.

"Right before I sacrificed myself I looked at this picture," he says. He hands me a picture of Peggy.

"She was beautiful when she was younger. What an amazing woman," I say.

"You know her?" He asks.

"A lot of people do. She is a big feminist icon," I answer.

He smiles. We get in front of my apartment. I smile. I start to unlock it. We walk inside.

We both sit down on my couch. I make him some food. I hand him a bowl of Mac and Cheese.

"Trust me Steve. I know you're hungry. Just try it," I say. He smiles.

I look at his facial expression change. I turn on the TV and sit by him.

I hear a knock. It's Fury. I shake my head.

"This man has been through enough for a day. Let's not push it," I say. Steve looks at the door.

"He needs to checked because we don't understand if he is alive," Fury says.

I look at Steve. "Give me a second," I say. I step outside.

I shut the door. "Fury I understand that this isn't my place to tell you no but I know psychology just let him adjust. Give me a day and I'll take him to get checked again," I say.

"You'll have him there at 10 am," he says. He starts to walk away.

I open the door back into the apartment. I look at him.

"Look I know you're taking a big leap to trust me but there is something I have to tell you. I'm sorry if it's a betrayal," I start.

He looks at me. "My real name is Davina but I work for a government that is called S.H.I.E.L.D. they're the ones who found you," I explain.

He looks betrayed. I stand there and wait.
