The Accords

I sit at the Avengers facility with Steve, Wanda, Natasha, Rhodey, Sam and my dad.

I wait for Secretary of whatever and whatever his name finishes talking.

"I refuse to sign the accords because I already know what my purpose is," I say.

"Well then retire," he says.

I shake my head.

"Who's going to make me? You? The government? My dad?" I ask.

"We will find the technology to control you," he says.

I laugh.

"I joined SHIELD to protect the world. To figure out that Hydra was basically controlling SHIELD. Some of my associates died because of that. You guys planned to bomb New York if it weren't for my father. You guys do nothing but hate the things you guys can't control," I say.

I start grabbing my things.

"Davina just here me out," my dad says.

I throw my bag down and look at him.

"Did I say that you were allowed to speak?" I ask. This throws everyone off.

"You should design the accords because I prefer you there than being held prisoner," my dad answers. "We need to be put in check."

I grab my bag. I shake my head.

"And this is what my mother told me not to bend down to," I say.

He looks at me with pain in his eyes. I look at Steve. I put my hands on his shoulders.

"I know what your choice is but please be careful," I say. He nods.

I teleport to Bucky and my other self. I go back to my apartment in New York. My mother has died in vein if I were to sign the accords. So I start packing all my things.

I hear a knock. It's my dad. He made it back faster than I thought.

"When are you going to forgive me?" My dad asks.

"I did. Now I don't know if I made the right call, because of what happened several hours. That's my mistake," I answer.

His face falls.

"Why are you packing?" He asks.

"I can't stay here anymore. I have a smaller apartment in London. Where my job is," I answer.

"I know you're upset with me but you don't have to leave," he says.

"No you don't because you're asking me to do something that I wasn't raised to do. That's why I went to the SHIELD academy to protect and help. What you're asking of me is something I won't do because then my mom died for nothing," I say.

My dad looks at me.

"I don't want you to get hurt," my dad says.

"It's too late for that," I say.

A Day Later

When I get to the base in London. I see that everything is going wrong. I see myself on screen with James, Steve and the prince of Wakanda. They're saying I'm a criminal.

I hurry and teleport to wherever they're holding the other me. Everyone looks at me confused.

Natasha holds a gun to me.

"How did you get out?" She asks.

I shake my head. "Put that down or I swear to god I am going break your arm into 3 different pieces," I say. I start walking into the room they have me captive in. Natasha walks with me and I stand on the outside of it.
