Lovely

I see Loki again and my heart aches for what is about to happen. Loki turns and sees me.

I drag him into an empty room. Loki smiles.

"You're awake," Loki says. I shut the door behind me.

"You have the tesseract," I say.

His face shocked.

"How do you know?" Loki asks.

"Because you're one of the reasons half the universe vanishes," I whisper loudly.

"Thanos," Loki says. 

"Loki. Thanos is on his way now but we have to do something I can't believe I'm thinking about," I whisper.

"Care to fill me in?" Loki asks.

"You will give Thanos the tesseract. When you give him the tesseract the Hulk will fight Thanos. Giving you and I enough time to switch places but you have to make this death look convincing Loki. Thor and I will run on hatred from here on out until we get to Wakanda," I explain.

"What will happen to me?" Loki asks.

"I'll teleport you to Steve. You guys get armies to Wakanda so the war will be far away as possible with experienced fighters. We'll join you there because by then we'll have the soul stone," I answer.

"Will you meet me us?" Loki asks.

"Loki I'm from the future we lost in. When Thanos thinks he's killing you, he'll be killing me and I hope to any lord that my plan will go accordingly," I answer.

He looks at me.

"Thanos killed me, that's why you're determined for this to work," Loki says.

I nod.

"I'm sorry you went through that pain," Loki says.

I touch his hands.

"At least, your Davina won't know that pain and misery for as long as I did. Loki we can't fail again," I answer.

"I won't let you down."

I kiss him one last time. Soon I won't remember any of this.

Isn't it lovely dying all alone?

I close my eyes and wipe the tears about this.

"One last thing you need to do," I say.

"What?" Loki asks.

"My dad is going to sacrifice himself for the soul stone because in order to get the soul stone, you have to trade the thing you love. A soul for a soul," I answer.

His face looks sad.

"Your father is going to make you sacrifice him so you guys can win," Loki says.

I nod. I feel Thanos approaching.

"Hurry to the medical wing so you'll be there, when I wake up," I order. Loki runs as fast as he can.

I teleport to Wakanda. I see my father and myself there. I transform into a different person

"Tony," I say. He looks at me.

"Your daughter and you are requested to follow me," I say. I walk away far enough to where I am out of earshot.

They stare at me. I look at her. She seems happy but miserable at the same time.

"You guys have to get the soul stone," I say.

"No one knows where the soul stone is," Other me says.

"It's on Vormir," I say.

"How do you know that?" My dad asks.

"Don't be. Learn to forgive," I answer. His face drops. He understands.

"There is a price though," I explain.

"Which is?" Davina asks.

"You have to sacrifice something you love. A soul for a soul," I answer.

They look at each other. They get what I mean.

"No. I won't do this," Davina says.

I look at her.

"If you don't, everything will be for nothing," my dad says.

I nod. Tears form into her eyes.

"Why are you telling me this?" Davina asks.

I transform into myself. She looks at me.

"Because if you don't, all of this is going to nothing and people will be gone," I answer.

"Why don't you do it?" Davina asks.

"Because in 20 minutes I'll be dead," I answer.

She looks at me confused.

"You'll understand when you merge back into your other half. But say your goodbyes because I know our father won't let anyone die for this except himself," I say.

"She's right," My dad says.

She cries.

"I already lost my mom. I can't lose you too," Davina says.

"Davina, everything your parents did, they did for you," I say.

She looks at my dad and nods.

"You guys have to get the stone before Thanos. Which from now that's going to be 3 hours. Let your father say his goodbyes. Then Thanos will come for the stone but Carol will come with a gauntlet. You get to kill Thanos when you put it on but you have to merge with your other half before," I explain.

I feel it's almost time.

I look at Davina.

"The sun will shine on you again," I whisper.

I teleport to Loki. He is standing there talking to Davina. I grab his hand and teleport him to the other me. Loki stands in front of Steve, my dad and other me.

"Don't fail."

I teleport back.

"There are two more Stones on Earth. Find them, my children, and bring them to me on Titan," Thanos orders.

"Father, we will not fail you," the woman alien says, kneeling.

I appear. They see me as Loki.

"If I might interject... If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of experience in that arena," I say.

"If you consider failure experience," Thanos says.

"I consider experience, experience. Almighty Thanos, I... Loki... Prince of Asgard...," I look at Thor, "Odinson... The rightful King of Jotunheim... God of Mischief... do hereby pledge to you, my undying fidelity.

I draw a dagger. I thrusts upward, fast and I attempt to stab Thanos, but the Space Stone's power stops me.

"'Undying.' You should choose your words more carefully," Thanos says.

Thanos twists the dagger out of my hand with his hand. He takes my neck with the gauntlet and lifts me to eye level. I struggle for show, kicking, as Thanos squeezes my throat is squeezed. I look towards Thor before Thanos squeezes tighter.

So this is what the end is. I give up fighting against Thanos.

"You will... never be... a god," I choke out the words.

Thanos squeezes my neck and the end comes.
