Time

Almost 2 Years Ago On Asgard

I stand there sparring with Lady Siff. I use only one sword today. She has been showing me tricks with just the one. Not that I didn't know about them.

I take 2 swords this time and get them. She looks at me confused.

"I wanna get better at using two swords," I tell her. She nods.

"I'm actually not good at two swords but I know someone who is," she says.

Thor comes into view. I sigh. Of course he is.

"Come practice with me," I yell. He comes closer to us.

I get both of my swords ready.

I go for the first move. He blocks it. We go back and fourth for a while.

Every little while he goes faster and faster. Soon he gets me and I laugh.

"Please tell me that you were taking it hard on me," I say.

Thor nods. Thank the lord. That's all the practice I need today hopefully.

"It's alright if you lose sometimes Lady Davina. You're younger than all of us on Asgard except the children," Thor says.

I shake my head.

"It sounds like you're saying that I have the fighting skills of a child," I say.

He laughs.

"You are very skilled for someone young. It takes us years to develop the skillset you have."

"Well you guys live for about 5 millenniums," I say.

We both walk through the halls quietly.

"I need more practice using two swords at once. Can you help me?" I ask.

"Yes we can meet again first thing in the morning," Thor says. I nod.

I go back to my room and lay down. I feel pain all over my body but I don't understand why. I close my eyes and let myself sleep.

I stand there looking at my body lying on the ground in a cell.

I try to touch my body but my hand goes through it. I'm astroprojecting I think.

I look around and see what's going on. I sit and lean on the wall.

"I can see you," other me says.

I look at the other me.

"So this is what I look like other than a mirror," she says.

I nod.

"How can you see me," I ask.

"Of course I made you," she answers.

I look at her confused.

"The day I went out for coffee I made you and I had a bad feeling before I left. So I made another version of me to stay on Asgard because of Odin. You. I made another version of myself to go with the Winter Soldier. Just know that if you ever sense her trying to find me. Stop her and explain it to her because we can't be by each other in real form or we'll merge," she says.

I nod.

I wake up with Loki shaking me. Somehow I ended up into his cell.

I look up at him and he looks calm. I sit up so he can sit beside me.

We sit there looking eye to eye.

"I'm sorry I don't know how I ended up here," I whisper.

He takes my hand. I look at his hand. His hands are cold but that's about it.
