"you did what?!""Khanyiswa, refrain from raising your voice at me." said the elder, eerily calm. He continued, "I said i have nominated you to do the country a favour and look after the lost prince. he just needs a light to guide his path Khanyiswa, I believe that is you."
"This is bullshit!" screamed Khanyiswa. The elder frowned at her choice of language. He muttered something about American TV shows and sighed.
"one day you'll understand my child." And with that he walked out.
Khanyiswa growled and muttered several curse words under her breath, varying in languages. She didn't want to look after a tyrant. Someone who, less than two months ago, threatened the peace of Wakanda and more or less ruined the country.
She knew her friends would laugh at her, all except one. Amarachi.
Khanyiswa sighed and walked into the spare bedroom, preparing it for N'Jadaka. She looked around and the room brought back a series of memories. Her, her ex-boyfriend, the bed.
She was sure that they broke the bed the last time she remembered and checked underneath it, to see if it was still held upright in which it was.
Thank God.
She began to daydream about her and Delli when she heard her front door being kicked in.
Immediately she jumped off the and ran to her front door.
She stood in bewilderment of the figure before her. For a few seconds they were both quiet, then a low grow emitted from Khanyiswa's throat.
N'Jadaka chuckled and threw his bag to the side and strolled through, plopping himself on the sofa.
At this time, the neighbors had began to be nosy and try and peak through to get a look at the tyrant.
Word spread fast, thought Khanyiswa as she shut the door on the nosy onlookers.
She stormed over to N'Jadaka, who had clearly made himself comfortable in his new house, flicking through channels on the TV.
Khanyiswa narrowed her eyes at him and looked back and forth between him and the TV, then screamed.
And for the first time, he looked up and acknowledged her presence.
"what the fuck!? could you not knock!"
N'Jadaka looked at her, he liked her accent. It was thick but not thick. He looked down to her cocoa legs, up until her reached her breast, which were being covered in a white oversized tee.
She clearly isn't wearing a bra, he mused.
"Not my style." he replied looking back to the TV and began flicking through channels again.
Khanyiswa stormed off, clearly unhappy.
But he didn't care.

"Would you like something to eat?"
it had been at least three hours since N'Jadaka made his appearance.
At this time Khan had punched two walls, swore sixty-seven times and cut herself accidentally by throwing knives into the wall.
She had now fully calmed down, trying to see the light in the situation.
He couldn't be that bad, is what she thought.
N'Jadaka hadn't moved from his position but had made himself more at home. He was now shirtless and had his legs in the chair.
He didn't say anything to Khanyiswa's question. She gritted her teeth.
"N'Jadaka."
"Erik." he said, "my name is Erik. Not that bullshit name."
"Well that bullshit name was given to you by your father, so whether you like it or not, N'Jadaka is what I will call you."
He got up from his position and walked towards Khan, who was leaning on the door. Immediately she straightened, ready to face him.
He edged closer and closer until his lips reached her ear, "Erik. Is my name. Keep calling me that weak ass name and you're gonna get it sunshine."
He bumped past her as he walked away and for the sixty-eighth time that day, Khanyiswa let out a string of curses.
But only this time, she wasn't going to let him win. She followed him into the kitchen.
"you know what your problem is? you think you're better than everyone else. you think you're right. you think that everyone else is full of shit and that you're the only sane person here! you are the only person full of shit N'Jadaka!"
He threw the glass he was holding and its contents went flying, "yeah well I'm so fucking sure you'd do the same in my fucking place! I'm being held by the motherfuckers who killed my father and it's being called 'be caring'? there's a reason I'm full of shit sunshine! Because I was fucking woke up against my fucking will. I wanted to die in peace, but no shit, t'challa doesn't want that to happen."
He breathed out through his nose, "you tell me what it's like to lose your parents."
Khanyiswa froze. She hated talking about her parents but this idiot was making it seem as if he was the only person in the world to lose parents.
She bowed her head and said nothing. Erik began to walk out but she grabbed his hand.
"I'm sorry you lost your father N'Jadaka, but don't take it out on the world."
"I'll do whatever the fuck I want." And with that he walked out.
Night fell. N'Jadaka had been in the same position from afternoon whilst Khanyiswa was in her bedroom, reading a book.
Later she came out and joined N'Jadaka, who was watching television.
She pushed his feet off the sofa and sat next to him. He rolled his eyes but didn't say anything. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Erik spoke, "So, sunshine, what do you for fun?" his hands trailed her exposed thighs.
She hit his hand, "Get the fuck off me."
He loved her accent, so rich and beautiful. He smirked.
" you look way too stuck up to be cursing, it's funny. Didn't daddy ever tell it's bad to swear? "
" you'll look way too funny with my foot stuck up your arse, N'Jadaka. "
"not if I get my dick stuck up your ass first sunshine."
She glared at him and he laughed.
"Maybe the 'peace' these idiots are trying to get me to find is in your pussy. A light to all huh?" he leaned in and whispered in her ear, "this is going to be so much fun."
"please. i don't get wet for niggas like you..."
