Waking up to Khanyiswa's face ever since they had started sleeping together was a whole other story.

N'Jadaka would be out the house quickly, running his daily jobs, simply because he couldn't stomach the idea of seeing her.

Not that he didn't like seeing her. He loved seeing her. She was singlehandedly the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

It was different when night fell and they were under the sheets, he felt as if his body did all the talking for him. There was no need for a morning conversation, was there?

He was putting on his boots, getting ready to meet T'Challa, when Khanyiswa appeared in his doorway, wearing nothing but a thin white sheet, that did nothing to cover up her body.

She gazed at him with her piercing brown eyes, "Is there a problem, N'Jadaka?"

His ignored the question at first, muttering that it was too early for this bullshit, but she came over and flicked his ear.

His hand immediately flew there in shock, "What the fuck do you want, Khanyiswa?!"

"Don't speak to me like that."

"I'll do whatever I goddamn please. Now get out of my face." He growled. He began walking away from her but she grabbed his arm and whirled him around to face her.

Immediately, he had his hand around her neck, pinned up again the wall. Her eyes widened in shock, but gradually reduced to her normal look. Before she turned wild again and began to laugh in his face.

"So you'll fuck me during the night but can't talk to me in the morning? You're a piece of shit." She spat in his face. He fought the urge to begin laughing, because of her accent, swear words tended to come out a bit stronger, making it funnier to hear.

"I don't have time for this shit, Khanyiswa." His hand tightened around her neck. "So tell me what you want from me."

She opened her mouth to speak and shut it again, quickly.

He sucked his teeth and released her, "So you come in here, wearing your everyday slutty outfit, come challenge me then when I'm choking you, you don't have shit to say? Fuck right off."

She huffed, "If you're so adamant on fighting me, N'Jadaka, forget about this thing we have going on. If you think I'm coming back into your bed, you must have lost your mind. Fuck you."

"Whatever." And with that he left.

Still in a bad mood, he met up with T'Challa at the riverside as they prepared to help the civilians move the fish from the shore.

T'Challa peered at his cousin, "You seem a bit....tense."

N'Jadaka shook his head as he put his gloves on, "I'm fine."

"Woman problems?" T'Challa smirked when he saw N'Jadaka's face hardened.

"I said, I'm fine." growled N'Jadaka.

T'Challa laughed, "They're not easy are they? Especially when they're warriors, it's harder to talk to them."

N'Jadaka huffed, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Khanyiswa's hard work huh? She's always been a tough girl. Learn how to kill a man ten different ways before she was seven. Her father doted on her, opted to teach her everything he knew. He was a good man. Kind. Just like her."

N'Jadaka rolled his eyes and began to work, trying his best to ignore T'Challa.

"Give her time, N'Jadaka, good things come to those who wait."

Annoyed at how badly the day had gone, all N'Jadaka wanted to do was sleep. As he approached the house, he noticed they were more lights on than usual and that wasn't like Khanyiswa at all, she was the power-saving type.

He entered the house and the first thing he heard was Khanyiswa's moans fill the void. After all, he heard them every night, he knew what they sounded like.

He marched upstairs and burst through her room, only to see her with her legs open and a man in between them.

"What. The. Fuck."
