She didn't mean to get caught.

That was the first thing she thought of when she saw N'Jadaka fuming in front on her.

She pushed herself away from Delli, "I....uhh...."'she couldn't meet his eyes, "I think you should leave."

"Khanyiswa—" he started.

"bruh, did you not hear her, get the fuck out." N'Jadaka growled.

Delli stood up to face him, he was almost N'Jadaka's height, just a few centimetres shorter, "You don't scare me, tyrant. You had no reason bursting in—"

"Why don't you bring your pussy ass over here and come say that stupid shit to me?"

"N'Jadaka!" Khanyiswa scolded.

Delli scoffed in annoyance before turning to Khanyiswa, "You'll call me?"

Khanyiswa opened her mouth to reply when N'Jadaka cut in, "no she fucking won't. get the fuck out."

Delli screwed his face and left, as soon as the front door slammed, N'Jadaka had his hand around her neck and pinned her up against a wall.

"Are you fucking serious right now?" He shouted, "You gon' fuck another nigga huh?"

Khanyiswa spat in his face, "I don't belong to you."

He dropped her and wiped her spit off his face. He was so tempted to hit her, but he knew he couldn't.

"if I see you with the bitch ass, I'll fucking murder you."

"You're not the boss—" his hand flew back to her neck and tightened around it.

Khanyiswa's limbs turned to jelly, she wanted to hit, kick and slap him but her body wasn't cooperating.

She nodded quickly and he let go of her neck, storming out.

flashback

She'd gone out to the bar, to clear her mind off N'Jadaka.

"Khanyiswa, is that you?" She turned to see Delli behind her and she rolled her eyes.

"Fuck off." And he laughed and sat down as she groaned. He pointed to her drink, "are you drunk?"

She screwed her face, "No, you idiota, it's fucking 11am."

Delli raised an eyebrow as she downed her drink, "Khanyiswa, it's nearly 6pm."

"That's what I said, dumbass." She grabbed her bag and got up, proceeding to leave.

He grabbed her arm and moved behind her to steady her, pressing his body into hers.

She grit her teeth, "I don't need your help." But he pushed his groin further onto her behind.

"Come on Khanyiswa, I will take you home." He kissed her neck.

Fast forward to now, as a fuming N'Jadaka stomped down the stairs.

Khanyiswa sat on her bed, naked and frowned, she wasn't that drunk. She knew what she was doing. She rubbed her neck and winced before slowly going downstairs.

She went into the kitchen and stood infront of N'Jadaka, who was sitting at the table, clenching and unclenching his fists.

Khanyiswa wasn't a submissive type and nearly all her relationships went wrong because of this.

She pouted as she looked and N'Jadaka and mumbled, "I'm sorry."

He looked over at her and scoffed, "I don't give a fuck. Go put some clothes on, you fucking whore."

He pushed past her, leaving her exposed in the kitchen.

Khanyiswa watched him leave, stuck on what she should do next. She looked at her reflection in the marble table and burst out into tears.

Nothing could stop her crying as her warm body touched the cold floor.

She didn't even know why she was crying, it was like a wave of emotions had just hit her all at once.

She sniffed as she heard N'Jadaka's door slam shut.

She was tired of denying her feelings, she liked him and all she wanted to be was in his embrace. As much as he was a dickhead and highly annoying. He made her laugh and they had good banter. There was never a dull moment around him. He knew how to satisfy her, sexually and physically. They liked the same things, said the same swear words. They were practically a perfect fit.

She dragged herself upstairs and threw on a t-shirt before grabbing a cover and walking downstairs to the sitting room, making herself comfortable, she watched Netflix all night and ate ice cream. Killing a few mosquitoes in the process.
