"Welcome back," Heimdall says with a 'told you so' smile. He acted like he fucking knew everything. Wait....he did....shit....

"Hi," I reply as I run out Heimdall's observatory. This bridge was longer than I thought. I stop to catch my breath but a neigh catches my attention.

"Hey boy, am I glad to see you," I pant out with a smile. He trots to me and slows as I hug him.

"Sorry I didn't bring apples," I tell him as I stand in front of him. He breaths in my face and I grin.

"Thanks for forgiving me, a lot of people don't these days," I tell him. He knickers and turns around. I get up on him and hold on, I wasn't used to Hades flying.

"I think you know where to take me," I mumble. As we soar above Asgard I look the golden city. A golden city covering it's black lies....

"Stay here ok, I'll spend some time with you when I come back," I say as he lands in front of a familiar place. I get off him and slowly walk, putting my hood over my head.

My stomach was queasy. Did he still hate me? I wander inside the gates to the large home.

"May I help you?" I hear a voice ask. It was Raynor. I turn around and look up to him, low key hoping he would kick me out.

His eyes crinkled around his eyes as he gives me a soft and relieved smile. His mouth didn't just smile, but so did his eyes.

He seemed to be at peace when he saw me. But why...? I literally make people feel the opposite.

"He's in his room dear. He's stayed in there since you left, barely coming out," Raynor tells me.

"I'm....I'm sorry. It's been hard for me as well," I apologize to him, looking down.

"I know it has. I've had Heimdall update me on your whereabouts," he says. My jaw clenches a bit. How....how did he not despise me?

"You have a troubled life, but a pure heart. I know you wouldn't hurt a soul, because you'd rather hurt yourself then hurt others," he explains to me. I give him a teary eyed smile and hug Raynor. He was like a father I never had.

"Now go child, I've been yearning to see my son smile again," he says and pats my back. I nod and walk inside, knowing the way by heart. I turn the hallway to his room and immediately hear the yelling.

"I SAID I WASN'T HUNGRY! NOW LEAVE!" Aros yelled. After a few seconds a maid comes out with tears in her eyes. Another young maid.

"Do not worry, he just says that in fits of anger," I console her, "thank you for trying."

"Of course Lady (y/n), welcome back," she says with a small smile and hurries off. I hear a sob come from her and shake my head. Aros, never one of manners.

As I come closer to his door my body felt completely off. As if my heart was in my head, my brain in my stomach, and everything else was just mixed up. I didn't know if I should open the door or just walk away. He thought I hated him but it wasn't true. He was closest to me after Nico.

Wish a jagged sigh I open the door, walk in, and shut it behind me.

"I SAID I-" he begins as he turns to face me. My eyes meet his and my mind yelled at me to leave but my heart told me to stay.

"(Y-y/n)...." he whispers as his voice cracks. His eyes were wide, like he couldn't believe it was me. He takes a step towards me but then stops.

"I thought you hated me," he tells me.

"Yeah and I'm dead," I say with a small laugh. I felt tears roll down, and for once they were happy tears.

"I mean you are on the inside," he jokes with a small smile. He hasn't changed thankfully.

"Just give me a hug idiot," I say and walk towards him. He quickly wraps his arms around me as I do the same. Finally I had someone there for me.

"How could you le-ave me like that?" He asks, his voice cracking, as we rock back and forth in our hug.

"I don't know....but I came back," I tell him.

"Yeah after so long...." he mumbles.

"Did you miss me?" I ask, trying to lighten the mood. He lightly pushes me off and gives me a look.

"Oh NoT aT aLl! YOU ABSOLUTE MORON!" he groans. I laugh a bit and hug him again.

"Last time you'd kick me if I hugged you and now here we are," he scoffs. This time I push him off.

"I'm fine not hugging you as well," I mutter.

"Hehe no no," he says and wraps me in a hug once more. We stay like that for a while which helped me calm down.

"You smell," he mumbles, shattering the beautiful glass of silence.

"You're one to talk, when was the last time you showered?" I ask, crinkling my nose.

"Uh....how long has it been since you left?" He asks. I gasp and push him off.

"Aros!" I yell.

"I'm kidding it was a week ago," he says, rolling his eyes.

"Disgusting, go take a shower. We can talk afterwards," I tell him, placing my hand on my nose.

"Wanna join?" He asks with a smirk.

"I'd rather go back to Earth," I say, rolling my eyes.

"You haven't changed at all," he says with a small.

"Stop," I tell him.

"What?" He asks.

"Looking at me like that....it's weird," I mumble and push his chest lightly.

"Looking at you like what?" He questions. There was that look again. Almost like the one that.... Loki used to give me....
