"I know what you are."
What? What does that even mean? I peek out the window to see if anyone is watching me. I see a black car pulling away from the curb across the street. I turn around and drop my bag on the floor by the stairs and lock my phone without responding to the mysterious message.
I start feeling my hands go numb, so I shake them out a little bit. I walk into the living room and sprawl out on the couch. I lean over to pick up the remote and look down at my hands.
My hands are turning silvery and metallic. My breathing increases and I touch my finger tips together. I feel absolutely nothing. As panic seeps into me, it begins to spread up my arms. I start squealing and jump off the couch and rubbing my arms in attempt to make it stop. My arms feel ridiculously heavy and I can feel it making it's way down my chest, stomach, waist and legs.
I run to the bathroom and turn on the light and see my reflection in the mirror. It looks like my entire body was coated in a silver casing. It makes my red hair appear wild and my grey eyes appear shifty.
I feel the rush of wind around my body as I fall and the world goes black.
