4. diagon alley

This year it's finally the year I was allowed to follow lessons. Today Hagrid was going to take me to diagonally to buy my new school stuff first I stood up early and ate a small breakfast. before we went I had a little time to stretch my wings in the room of requirement, I used this room a lot to fly without anyone seeing. I also used the room to practice my elemental powers in with outside of the practices with Dumbledore. Then Hagrid and I went to Hogsmeade to take the night bus to Diagon alley. In Hogsmeade Hagrid lifted his pink umbrella up. seconds later a purple tree story high bus arrived. The journey to Diagon alley was everything but nice, The bus went really fast and swaying all ways. when we arrived we entered the Leaky Cauldron, the barkeeper asked if Hagrid wanted the usual. But Hagrid said no, I am on official Hogwarts  business and he stepped aside to show me, there went a murmur through the pub and we went trough a back door. We entered a small alleyway and Hagrid started taping a few stones. The wall formed himself into an arch.

We entered the street and walked to gringotts. I had never really been outside Hogwarts except for hogsmeade visits so I was amazed by all the shops and people around me. We entered gringotts and walked to a desk, the goblin behind the desk didn't  notice we stood infront of him. Hagrid coughed and the goblin looked up, Jessica Black would like to enter her vault Hagrid said. I grabbed the key witch was in my pocket and showed it to the goblin. He said it was okay and called another goblin to take us to my vault. The gringotts carts were very uncomfortable to say the least and Hagrid looked a little green  when we stopped by my vault. I handed the key to the goblin and he opened it up. I knew my parents had a lot of money. But this was even more then I expected. I filled my money bag up and we stepped out of gringotts a few minutes later.

Let's get your robes first Hagrid said. So we went to madam Malkins shop. Hagrid decided to stay outside on the wooden bench while I bought my robes. I entered the shop and heard a voice ask 'Hogwarts dear' I answered yes. A nice woman appeared and pointed me to a footstool where I needed to stand. She started measuring me, or the tape measure stardet measuring me when the shop bell rang and a big family of redheads entered. While Percy was pointed to the footstool next to me, Fred and George where making funny faces. I gigled and I saw that George turned red and hid.

After madam malkins we went to buy my books. It took Hagrid a while to get me out of the book store and I bought way more books then I needed. After  that we bought a couldren, scales and a basic potion ingredient set. I only need a wand I told hagrid. Then we need to go to Olivander of course. You go I need to buy something else I agreed and walked to the wand shop. I entered the small shop. There where wand boxes stacked to the sealing. I looked around me but I didn't see anyone. After a while an old man appeared and said Jessica Black I wondered when I would be seeing you, I remember selling your mother and father their first wand. He gave me a wand and I tried it I broke a vase. I continued trying wands for about an half hour. Before olivander said 'I think this is the one, rosewood with a combined core of Thunderbird and hippogriff feathers. A very special combination'. I grabbed the wand and a warm feeling went through my body, I wipped the wand and repaired the damage I had done. I paid for my wand and walked out. I saw hagrid carrying a cage with an owl he gave it to me and said for you an early birthday present, I hugged hagrid and thanked him I decided to call the owl Halina. Hagrid and I went back to Hogwarts after that and when we arrived I put my stuff in my room and brought Halina to the owlery.
