7. Harry goes to Hogwarts

Jessie POV
That morning wen we woke up we ate leftover sausages and went out. We stepped into the boat and rowed to land. It took a while to get to the Leakey cauldron. When we entered the bar keeper asked Hagrid "the usual I presume" he answered "no I am on official Hogwarts business" he stepped aside to show Harry to the pub. Then the bar keeper said "bless my soul it's Harry Potter". Everyone went quiet and then wanted to shake Harry's hand after a while Hagrid saw the new defense against the dark arts professor Quirrel I had seen him but not yet talked to him. 'Oi professor didn't see you there' Quirrel looked at harry and said 'h-harry p-potter what a p-pleasure' Hagrid explained that Quirrel is going to teach defense against the dark arts. Quirrel said 'n-not that you n-need it he p-potter' then he saw me and said 'and you must be the Hogwarts inhabitant Jessica black' I shook his hand and said to him 'I prefer Jessie if you don't mind'. Then suddenly I felt a painful sting through my invisible wings. I winced and both Hagrid and harry looked at me worried. We went to the back to go to diagon alley.

Harry was amazed by everything in the street.I desired to grab his arm to keep him with us we first went to Gringotts. Where I told harry what goblins are then we went in to a cart and drove first to my vault then harry's and last a different vault, it opened when the goblins touched it with a finger in the vault was a small package in brown paper. Wen we were out Hagrid went to the Leakey cauldron because he felt a little sick from the Gringotts carts. we went to madam Malkins for robes while Harry was fitting I bought new dragon leather gloves and a cloak for outside. when we were done Hagrid was back with ice cream. we ate the ice cream and I noticed that harry was kind of quiet, Hagrid asked him 'whats wrong harry'. he answered by telling about a boy he met in the shop. The boy said something about pure bloods and Harry asked what it meant. I explained that some wizards think that some wizard families are better then others, they think that only wizards who had no muggle relatives should be allowed to perform magic. we continued our shopping I also did my school shopping and I bought a nimbus 2000 broom because I want to try out for the quidditch team.

lastly Harry went to buy his wand at Olivanders while Hagrid and I went to the Pet shop. Hagrid asked me 'I want to buy an owl for Harry witch one should I buy?' This one I anwsered I pointed at a snowy owl. Whe bought the owl and went to harry he walked out olivanders with his new wand looking a little dazed. Then he saw us and Hagrid said 'Happy Birthday Harry'. After that we took the metro to bring Harry to the Dursleys. Hagrid and I went back to Hogwarts and I couldn't wait until the next school year would start.

In the following  month I trained on my broom and wandered through the castle. I also seem to bumb in to professor Quirre and every time I am near him I feel a painful sting in my wings. I thought about going to madam pomfrey but It is gone as fast as it comes.

First of September

Jessie's POV
I was running to the great hall, for once I was on time. I bumped into Quirrel once again but continued running feeling another sting. I sat down at the Gryffindor table waiting for the other students. After a while everyone started entering and the weasley twins seated them self next to me. I hugged them and greeted percy. When everyone whas seated the first years entered. George whispered in my ear ' do you see that black haired boy, that's Harry Potter' I chuckled 'I know George'. Then the sorting started. I didn't really listen until I hear Harry being called. It took the hat a few minutes but it eventually called out GRYFFINDOR. Me, George and Fred  sang together 'we got potter! we got Potter!' Harry sat down across the table and I gave him a high five. After harry there were 3 boys left first was Ron weasley who  became a gryffindor I clapped loudly for him. Then another Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff.

The next day I decided to transform in to Missy (Jessie's animagus form a small husky) and run to the great hall. Whenever I do this everyone pets me and gives me food. Nobody at Hogwarts except Dumbledore and Mcgonagall know that I am an animagus. I am just known as Missy the stray dog roaming on the Hogwarts grounds. I walked to the hall, scared some first years on the way and was petted older students. I ran through the great hall and jumped up George's legs. He stroked my fur and said 'hey Missy how are you this morning' I barked happily. Then I continued walking down the gryffindor table and at the end of the table  I saw Harry, I ran to home and started barking happily. Harry wheeled around with a little scream, Ron did too. Harry asked 'why is there a dog in here' 'that is Missy the school dog' Percy anwsered while scratching me behind my ear.

After 3 weeks of lessons there appeared a notice on the board that quidditch try outs will be next Saturday. That is tomorrow I thought. Harry and Ron came running  Harry almost out of breath told me 'jess you wont --- believe what happened' what is it I asked. Well Neville fell of his broom and broke his wrist, madam Hooch  brought him away and draco grabbed his rememberall and flew up into the air and I flew after him and dived to catch the rememberall before it hit the ground and Mcgonagall saw it and took me with her to Oliver Wood and made me Gryffindor seeker' he said this very fast but soft. I wasn't supposed to tel but I wanted you to know Harry said. 'That's awesome Harry, I am trying out for chaser tomorrow'

The next day I went to the quidditch pitch I was trying out for chaser with three other girls: Katie Bell, Angelina Jonson and Alicia Spinet. We had to fly round the pitch and try to score as many goals as we could. Eventually everyone had their turn and we waited for the results. 'Okey, There were 2 who didn't mis a shot Angelina and Jessica your in the team' wood said I could scream I was so happy, But I wanted to be there for who didn't make the team. 'It was a close calm' Wood continued 'but the last place in the team goes to Katie'. Fred and George ran up the field and hugged me.

A few weeks later it was time for our first quidditch match against Slitherin. I scored 4 goals and Angelina 3. When I saw harry sprinting after something. He had seen the snitch, but then I felt a very painfull sting in my wing and I saw Harry struggling to stay on his broom. I looked around and saw that Quirrel wasn't blinking and was looking fixedly at Harry. I flew across the field to the teachers stand, I was planning to fly right into the teatchers but a small fire fixed it because Quirrel got knocked over. I saw that harry was on his broom again. I scored 2 more times before harry went into another dive. He fell down on the ground and I thought he was going to be sick. But he had almost swallowed the snitch. We won the game and we hugged and celebrated until late that evening. The pain I had in my wing was driven out.
