Monito (Namkook)

Namjoon came home thinking about what he should give to his monito. He didn't know where to start. He couldn't just give his monito an underwear and then call it sexy, right? If there's anything that Namjoon doesn't like, it's half-assing any work. It doesn't matter if it's trivial or not.

And Namjoon wanted to give a present where it's somewhere between pg-13 and sexy. But he didn't know what kind of gift that would turn out to be. So in order for Namjoon to get some kind of inspiration, he distracted himself by playing with his pet crab.

"Hello Jinnie! Did you miss me?" Namjoon peered at the inside of his pet's aquarium that was situated at his study desk. He was previously researching on his laptop for gift ideas on the internet when he gave up trying and ended up diverting his attention to his pet.

Namjoon stretched out his right arm inside the small aquarium that resembled a makeshift little ocean. The half of the aquarium was covered by sand descending until it meets sea water that Namjoon got from his visits to the beach. There were pretty rocks and seashells with all sorts of contrasting colors that Namjoon himself picked out that he deemed pretty enough and was worthy of earning a place in his beloved pet's aquarium. The aquarium also got a little rock that resembled a little cave for his 'Jinnie'.

And Namjoon may or may not have named Jinnie after Mr. Seokjin. Though Namjoon can't be blamed. When he found Jinnie one day at the beach, he was hooked at how cute and tiny Jinnie was and how he was reminded of the chemistry teacher because of the tiny creature's cuteness. Since Namjoon finds Mr. Seokjin cute.

But in all reality, Namjoon just actually wanted to name Jinnie after his crush so that it would seem like Namjoon could have some sort of connection with the teacher. Also, he'd like to call his teacher Jinnie someday.

The crab, Jinnie, made its way to Namjoon's palm. The tall male warily took the little creature out from its abode and petted it gingerly.

"What do you think should I give my monito?" he asked the oblivious crab.

His pet of course stayed silent.

Then Namjoon stared at his pet's white shell. The longer Namjoon stared at his pet, the better his brain started functioning.

Hmm...what if...what if he could make his own gift?

'Yeah! There aren't any rules that says we couldn't make our own right?'

Namjoon nodded to himself. Convinced that his plan could work. But first, he needs to buy an underwear. Yeah...yeah Namjoon knows he previously planned that he wasn't going to give an underwear and call it sexy. But his idea was different. Namjoon thought his idea could actually be appropriate, pg-13, and sexy.

So he made up his mind and he quickly stood up and made his way to his closet. He then bent down to get his secret stash of money located on a secluded part in his closet. Meaning, a hidden drawer that could be easily mistaken as just a narrow gap.

"One..two..." he carefully counted the crumpled paper bills.

In the end, Namjoon brought 12000 won (about $10) as his budget for the underwear though he knows he'll end up buying a really cheap underwear, he just likes to bring extra money for emergency purposes.

Namjoon was strolling in a nearby mall at 9 o'clock in the evening on a monday night. Not a lot people were there. Namjoon haven't seen anyone within his age range that particular time. Everyone would be usually home eating dinner or studying. That's why it's the perfect time to buy the underwear.
