"How did you know, mom?" Namjoon asked, bringing his nose close to his shoulder and sniffed himself. His mom shrugged, though Namjoon didn't see the gesture.

"My workmate wears that kind of perfume," she said, scooping another bulgogi rice and shoving it into her mouth.

"Oh," Namjoon nodded, subtly observing his mother's reaction as he continued eating.

"Where did you get that anyway?" Mrs. Kim asked after swallowing her food.

"From my secret santa," Namjoon answered, a blush creeping on his face.

"Oooh I guess you're very lucky then! They must be very rich to be able to afford something that expensive," she said, staring at him like he just did something she was so proud of.

"What's that look supposed to mean?" Namjoon asked, confused at his mom's reaction.

"Nothing. It's just...your secret santa's spoiling you. Sugar baby much?" She laughed with her quite rowdy laugh.

"Oh my God, mom. That's not what you say to your underaged kid," Namjoon said, shaking his head but shortly joining in with his mom's contagious laughter.

Namjoon's weekend flew by fast. He didn't bother buying his present yet. This week's theme was too easy for him. His gift was easy to find anyway. He could always buy in the last minute.

When Namjoon went inside the classroom, he was surprised to see that there were already gifts (although not more than five) were under the Tree of Gratitude. A very loud chatter was very apparent in the classroom. Some of his classmates were standing near the small christmas tree, as if they were guarding something. Namjoon wasn't that early but still on time, so it was very weird that some of his classmates were already there.

He approached Jimin (who was also strangely early) reading manhwa on his phone.

"Uhh...what's happening?" Namjoon said, sitting beside him.

Jimin glanced at him before going back to reading on his phone, "They've been like that ever since I came here. Guess they wanted to catch their secret santa too. And guess what?" Jimin looked at Namjoon.

"What?"

"Hodung actually caught Yunna earlier. It was chaotic earlier. You should've seen it! Glad I came here early," he told him enthusiastically.

"Really? It's still monday though. Isn't it a little too early to put their gifts?" Namjoon glanced at the corner where the Tree of Gratitude resided in.

"I don't know about them," Jimin shrugged. "Some of them must have thought they wouldn't get caught if they put their gifts earlier. The others were enthusiastic about catching their secret santas 'cause of what happened last week," Jimin smiled, contented that at least he's not going to worry about his grades, now that he had secured extra points. He's going to enjoy the show and drama from here on out.

That reminded Namjoon, he had to think of a plan to catch his secret santa. He was busy being too caught up with things that involved Jungkook, that he forgot he had a secret santa to catch. He still wanted that 20 points extra credit and perfect score after all.

Jungkook walked in to the rowdy classroom, humming an upbeat song, one strap of his bag over his shoulder, the bag dangling on every beat while he pranced towards his seat. His eyes instantly searched for a grape-like hair standing out from the sea of brunettes and blondes. A small smile crept up on his thin lips when he spotted the purple-haired talking to his friend. He made his way towards his seat.
