My heart is full, uwu.

The rest of the weekend, Jungkook and Namjoon haven't conversed at all. Giving Namjoon a lot of time to think and also make his gift for his monito. While Jungkook had it harder. He was trying his best not to pick up his phone and call Namjoon, or drive all the way to Namjoon's house to do what he should've done the day the incident happened.

'But why couldn't he, though?' if you ask.

The disappointing answer is simple.

He's afraid.

He's a coward, a sissy, and a chicken.

Taehyung wasn't much help, either. Jungkook's bestfriend was as equally dumbfounded as him. Taehyung's advice sucked so much he didn't want to listen any further.

"Why can't you just go to his house and confess? You're Jeon Jungkook! You're handsome and you're rich as hell! You can just buy him everything he wants. If he still doesn't like you- then hire someone and threaten hi-" Jungkook remembered.

Monday came, and things weren't exactly what the two of them expected to be. They became awkward. Well- they were always awkward since time immemorial. But it's the kind of awkward to the point that they couldn't even look at each other's faces. It was saddening, really. It was like they were back to square one again.

Tuesday. They weren't still in speaking terms but Namjoon have realized how childish he was acting. So he made the first move. He greeted at Jungkook and even smiled at him. Jungkook was taken by surprise because he thought he's the one who will take the initiative. And so, they were almost back to normal. Then night came, where they texted about what happened in school and other stuffs.

Wednesday until Thursday consisted of them greeting each other on the hallways and then talking to each other through text when night fell. Even though they were friends, they still hang out with pretty much the same people and their friendship didn't make that much difference into their daily routine.

Though, both didn't dare talk about the Jungkook-leaning-in-and-Namjoon-closing-his-eyes-in-the-car moment. Both concluded in each of their own to bury the memory for the sake of their budding friendship.

Namjoon's gift was a little hard to make. But he did his best to make it...of course with his mom's help this time. While they were making Namjoon's gift for his monito, his mom pestered him about what happened between him and Jungkook at the beach. She then scolded him for being vague in giving details when he told her about things that he wanted to remember.

"Why did you choose to make this kind of gift, Joonie? This is really hard." His mom complained.

"Because I think it's creative!" Namjoon answered.

"I think it's a pain in the ass," she grumbled. "What gift did you receive last week anyway?" Mrs Kim asked whilst she dropped food coloring into the sand, which also splattered unto her shirt, making her hiss in annoyance.

"Hmm?" Namjoon hummed.

"What did you get?" Mrs. Kim rephrased.

Namjoon stopped brushing the seashells to think about whether he should tell his mom about what he received or not. The latter is more ideal...but secrets aren't really allowed in the Kims household (although the thing with Jungkook most especially, is an exception).

"A leopard print Gucci thong..." Namjoon shyly mumbled.

"Oh." Then his mom proceeded to do her work; thinking that the last week's theme probably had something to do about underwears, which explained why Namjoon gave an embroidered underwear to his monito.
