"You can go home by the end of this week."

Forth remained unmoved, his gaze fixed on Beam with a burning intensity. After a few tensed seconds from Beam side, he finally smirked and relaxed back, "are you going to move into my place?"

"No."

"I'm moving into yours then?"

"No."

"No? Ok, it's a no from me also."

Beam's head snapped back as he blinked at him, "what do you mean no?"

He shrugged and replied back casually, "i'm not leaving this hospital until I get the guarantee that I will get to see you at least every couple hours."

The doctor gasped dramatically as he shook his head unbelievably, "Forth, you can't come and go whenever you want at a hospital. This is not your company or house! You're recovering very fast and nicely so you're getting discharged and that's final!"

His patient's face harden. Beam gulped nervously and took a step back. He knew this expression, it meant Forth was very serious and was taking no bullshit. God knew he encountered this cold demeanor from him too many times during the last two weeks. As expected the chilling and emotionless voice came back to him.

"I don't like the way you're talking back to me baby. I miss the old Beam, the timid one who never talked back and agreed to my every words. But I'm not complaining, I like this feisty Beam also, I will have so much fun taming you."

Beam groaned internally and tried to think back on how the conversation has turned to this. Forth seemed to have the ability to transform any conversation they have into explicit ones. However, he learned his lesson this time and shut his mouth. He knew it was futile to argue with him since he was too intimidated by him. His glowering and intense stare can make him wordless in seconds and he would start getting goosebumps all over his body. Despite the fact that Forth never touched him, his gaze only on him would render his knees weak and make him helpless. He hated how he gets in his presence, this may be the reason why he couldn't stop himself from coming to see him whenever the big man demanded it.

His fragile heart and his hopeless love for him render him too weak.

"What happened love? Cat got your tongue?"

Beam snapped out of his musing to find Forth smilling knowingly at him, as if he was aware of his thoughts. He shook his head hastily and tried his best to look severe, "whether you want it or not you're going home by the end of this week. End of discussion. Goodbye Forth, and please don't disturb me with your demanding messages because I have a very complicated operation scheduled today. I won't have my phone with me but still I'm letting you know so that you don't send any nurses to fetch me in the middle of the operation."

He back away rapidly and closed the door behind him before Forth could try to manipulate him into coming to see him in a couple of hours somehow. No matter how much he convinced himself that he would no longer care for him, he found himself caring for him more and more all because he kept seeing and being near him.

Exhaling deeply, he solemnly walked towards his consultation room, he was sincerely hoping that Forth's discharge would help him keep his distance from him and Forth himself might get over his hero complex for him and return back to his normal, straight life.

He was so distracted with his thoughts that he chose  to overlook the gossiping atmosphere around him. He ignored the giggling and knowing glances thrown at him as he walked towards his station. He knew exactly what all of this was about, he received yet another bouquet. For the past week, a grandiose bouquet arrived daily with only a small card attached to it. It always contained a quote from his favourite movie, which never failed to make him smile and lift  his spirit up. He wasn't fangirling over the fact that a movie star was  paying him attention, in fact he was surprised that someone like him would even give him a second of his day. Growing up, he was too timid to approach someone and when he came to know the Kongthanin, needless to say he blended perfectly well into the background. He was always the 'good-looking sort of in a cute way' friend of the devastatingly handsome and perfect brothers. And now that a movie star was giving him such precious attention, he couldn't help being flattered.
