"What do you want now?"

Silence...

"So you're just going to sit there and stare at me like a creep?"

Beam moved a little uncomfortably as he felt the stare on him getting hotter and hotter. Forth was sitting motionless devouring him with his intense gaze. He cleared his voice and tried again, "ok, at least answer me this. How did you get my number? It's private and I hate it when someone disturbs me at work."

It was too quiet, the silence deafening. Beam could hear his heart beating crazily, yet Forth wasn't doing anything except for intimating him with his statue like composure and his burning eyes trained fixedly on him. After what felt like an eternity, he finally answered in a husky voice, "your number? It's mine darling."

Beam jolted as he blinked at him in surprise, "what?"

Forth sighed and leaned back regarding him as if he was talking to a five years old. Taking a calming breath he explained reluctantly, "you are mine therefore everything that you possess is mine."

Beam groaned as he brought his hand to his forehead, he felt a headache coming on and Forth's stubbornness wasn't helping at all. After a moment of consideration, he looked up at him determined. Approaching him with resolute steps he narrowed his eyes at him and approached his face closely, looking at him in his eyes, "tell me seriously Forth, I know you are too sharp to be fooled, don't you think that you are having some sort of a hero complex?"

The large man smirked but said nothing. His small companion let out a frustrated cry, "come on, think about it! You were straight for your whole life and suddenly you woke up from a coma and turned gay! Do you think that's logical?"

Forth growled and make a disgusted face, "who the fuck told you I'm gay!"

The young man felt a quick pang on his heart but he dismissed it and focused on his patient.

"That's it! You see, you are denying being gay so quit the pretence now and get the hell out of here at the fastest because you are seriously disturbing my schedule. I am supposed to be consulting other patients right now."

He turned to leave but Forth grabbed his hand quickly stopping him on his track. Beam tried to free himself but to no avail, for a patient who just woke up from a coma he was too strong and persistent.

"Where are you going? I didn't gave you permission to leave me."

Beam snorted as he snatched his hand from his grip roughly, "I don't need your permission, I'm a free man."

He started walking and shouted behind his back, "and yes, I forget to tell you, I'm changing my number." Reaching the door he spoke one last time, "bye Forth. Get well soon." He slammed the door behind him.

Forth smiled and closed his eyes contently, Beam wouldn't know what hit him. His little doctor was very sassy for sure, he was going to have so much fun pursuing him. He relaxed back and frowned when he felt a slight pain on his side. Even moving a little was hard for him without feeling like he was being run by a truck. Beam didn't know this but he refused any more pain killers. It made him feel hazy and confused, which was a big no for him. Not only it made him feel helpless but he was afraid of losing Beam somehow.

Despite being in a coma, he used to hear a heavenly voice and feel a smoothing touch. It all felt like a dream whereby he tried his hardest to reach out and comfort that person. Beam's words of love was such a light balm to his broken heart that he used to wonder if he was in heaven. Slowly, he started regaining consciousness but the drugs were heavily weighting on him and he felt even more helpless when his angel would bid him goodbye every night. He was so tempted to reach out and to hold him to him forever. As time goes by, he felt like his angel was fading and his words were becoming sadder and sadder. This broke his heart and the night he heard Beam telling him goodbye for good, it took all of his willpower but he managed to gain complete consciousness.
